For new players who are interested in the plot, I recommend doing world quests, because they have some hidden lore. Plus 100% exploration does not mean that there is nothing left to collect there :) Before the release of Inazuma, they added new crates in updates, but now they probably don't have time for it anymore. There is also a hidden quest in Inazuma about Fatui that does not show up in the list. Just play without pressure for primogems. Btw. We can add to list Serenity Pot (set for characters) and 4 star character story.

I once took a break from genshin thinking raidens banner was still far away, came back and realized i fcked up, then speedran getting 25k primos in the span of 10 days. After that its safe to say i went insane
yesterday i got back into the exploring mood and got about 2000 primos in total! i really depends on how much you have left to explore and how much time you are willing to put in but as a completely f2p player, im able to get all the characters i want

The reason is simple; High standards High standards = More Skip = More Primos These are some examples 200 wishes for C2 Kazuha (2.8) 250 wishes for C2 Furina (4.2) 200 wishes for Thundering Pulse (3.2) 180 wishes for Hu Tao (2.2) I last pulled on Furina’s banner and I already have almost 200 Wishes saved up for her weapon.

And also when you're like playing for a pretty long Time already and you some really good Characters it will also be easier. Especially when you wanna get a Character and the other Banners are the Characters you already got. It will get better once you have some experience:D

I've been playing the game since the very beginning and I saved up every single PrimoGem and is every single bit of the starting area and collected every promo, I spent all of them on the venti banner and never got him, he was the only one that I really liked and I really wanted him but now I'm sad because I spent more than 3 months getting them. this was during the time venti first released and f2p players weren't hooked up with different ways to get Primos.
I don't remember my primo saved record but on my main account I didn't wish on standard for about a year and ended up with about 120 acquaint fates. I do know that event primos are usually about 2400 per patch. Patches that add new map areas probably more than double that not including quests. As a side note, the amount of primos you managed to get in four hours when converted into their approximate real monetary value is well below what a minimum wage job in the US pays in that same time frame (even after taxes). There is no real take away from this. I just thought it was funny.
Yea youre right. My takeaway is: get welkins, do optional daily commissions and play the rest of the game however you like OR log out and live your life :)
hello kato, no furina or any characters hp drain does not count as taking damage and also i believe remarkable chests also gives primos, they just dont give sigils, so i hope this helps. :)
I started playing Genshin specifically because of Venti at first, around January 2021. I think it was Shenhes release banner with Xiao. I didn't know what were primogems at first but I did save around 14k primos and got Venti when his rerun came around. Now I'm gathering for Furina who's C1 currently, but I want her C6 someday just because I love her so much. I gathered primos after Venti for other characters by doing every single world quest, story quest, hangout quest, abyss, events and having 100% exploration everywhere. ☠️

3:40 most I have ever saved is actually right now! on kokomi's last rerun last year i pulled for her and after that I started saving for navia. I got navia within 30 pulls so I currently have 223 wishes (around 35k primos) for arlecchino and chlorinde saved :D
Honestly if your f2p and you play the game daily, you can definitely get 5 starts pretty often , regardless on if you win or lose the 50/50. I’ve been playing the game for around 6 months and it’s safe to say I’m addicted and I have stars, Furina, Qiqi, Navia, Diluc, Mona, and The Knave and I’m broke on Primos and I’m getting a 10 pull to see if I have enough pity for Wanderer and if not I will continue to save for The Duke or any character I want
The only bad thing about saving alot of primos for a character for a long time is when the new characters come and ppl says their amazing I've been saving up for scara but when i saw the livestream that alrecchino will be in the first fase i almost cryed coz i dident know wich one to get😭

3:20 after i lost my 50/50 on furina banner i just started farming for her rerun, i dont remember how much i have right now but for reference i had 17k primos during navias bannet
back in march-april 2023 i had saved around 20k primos and 30 fates for Kazuha (and his weapon). mid april nahida had a rerun so i spent some of the fates on her and got her, then continued to save. in the end i managed to save 200~ fates for kazuha, and with all those pulls i got kazuha c0, freedom sworn and light of foliar incision! now im saving since mid february for columbina; i have around 6k primos and 20 fates so far
I just realized a kinda fun maybe idea for a Genshin play through what if you just play Genshin normally but you can’t use the time wheel thing idk if the quests and stuff work if you wait for the time naturally but I think it would be a little fun but still not to different from the original game

(and her weapon) i’m currently saving for chiori, and i have about 6k primos
I remember saving around 30k for Albedo first rerun since he was like the last main character I really wanted at the time, and I saved for about 2/3 months until he FINALLY got a rerun banner. Which I got him and lvl 90ed him and triple crowned him day 1 I got him. His event weapon was the first weapon I lvled to lvl 90 and got an achievement from it.
after i pulled lyney in 4.0 i saved up until furina arrived. that meant i had 2 patches worth of time to farm for her (i pulled lyney on the first day of 4.0 i think lol). i saved up around 15k-20k primos to pull for her. it was something... what was funny for me was that everyone was hating on her in 4.0 and 4.1 because she's a "BRaT" and saying they're not gonna pull for her and i was just like "she's so cute and silly! how can you hate her?!"- there's also the fact that i may or may not have seen a leak about the 4.2 story quest sooooooo... yea
3:20 i started saving primogems for albedo in 4.1 and i had about 230 wished in 4.5 when thr chronical banner dropped. However i had like 100 more wishes that i spent on navia and xiao while waiting for albedo to escape the hoyobasement
I returned to Genshin around the time this year's Lantern Rite began, and since I had all of Sumeru and Fontaine to do, I am currently at ~21k primos and 64 intertwined. Arlecchino please become playable soon, I want this nightmare to end.
I do alot of world quests from NPCs some are long and some are short but I've mainly done a few shorter ones and I've been racking up that 30 primos or 60 primos plus whiles I'm doing them I encounter chests on my way that I've missed so they give primos and also I would be completing some of the achievements so I get a whole lot more. Something I haven't done at all is anyone's Hangouts or story quests unless I need them done to move on to something there's a lot of primos there as well. I wouldn't say it's difficult just takes longer and I know this video is just showing within a 4 hour time but it takes a whole lot longer than just 4 hours to get a lot of primos.
I’ve been saving for about a bit over a week for furina and gained like 5300 primos and all I really needed was 1600 but I decided to keep grinding just in case I don’t get her and it reaches hard pity

You can use Sacrificial sword in him, but if you have sword billets, craft Iron Sting for him. It helps with elemental mastery, which he needs a lot of. He's my favorite character, and I hope you get him and love him as much as I do.

The most ive been able to save was about 200 wishes, i had been saving for around an month and a half. I knew i would lose my 50/50 when i woulf try and pull for Raiden...
I build pity usually, but in other games that don't save your pull history, I save them. With the new banner in Genshin, I might start doing the same in Genshin, so.
I saved about 9600 primos/60 wishes (exactly 60) in a little under(or over, i forgot) 2 months, then blew them all on kazuha's rerun, lost the 50/50 to tighnari, & then saved wishes again for scara's banner which i got him on the first day of his banner :D
if you count the free lim. 5 star HSR gave as 100 wishes, which is the average it takes, then HSR gives just shy of 10x the passive/event based rewards Genshin does, or has since it released. obvs there's more around the world to collect, but it rarely exceeds a wish an hour, so naturally i just watch ppl play this game now lol
I had about 35k primos saved (with some spent here n there for new characters) back in February 2023. Just doing events, abyss, and ofc dailies. Saved for about 4-6 months plus all the shop resets. I was wishing on the Yelan reun with hu tao and got C1 Yelan and staff of homa. Good times 😊
I’ve been saving for furina for a while now (because I started genshin right after her banner ended) and I have 100 wishes exactly saved so far This video is helpful, I didn’t explore sumeru desert at all either (literally like 2% exploration progress 😭) Also I’d probably be a citrus (lemon, lime, or orange idk), they’re just relatable for some reason
I think the most I've saved up (and still saving) was 40k primos for Neuvillette. I want to get him and his weapon, ideally some constellations as well :)
If I count all my wishes, I’m pretty sure I gathered around 500 wishes in 4/5 months, pity 80 I got tighnari on raiden’s banner, got raiden pity 18, on nahida’s banner I got dehya pity 54, then nahida at 67, on xianyun’s banner I got keqing at pity 75, xiao came on pity 75, and yae miko came at pity 81 being my first 50/50 win and I still had 8k gems left, so around 50 pulls left, which surprisingly is exactly 500 lol

3:20 after i lost my 50/50 on furina banner i just started farming for her rerun, i dont remember how much i have right now but for reference i had 17k primos during navias bannet
back in march-april 2023 i had saved around 20k primos and 30 fates for Kazuha (and his weapon). mid april nahida had a rerun so i spent some of the fates on her and got her, then continued to save. in the end i managed to save 200~ fates for kazuha, and with all those pulls i got kazuha c0, freedom sworn and light of foliar incision!
now im saving since mid february for columbina; i have around 6k primos and 20 fates so far
which 200 pulls would be around 32k primos i think
saved 120 pulls for neuvillette in a bit longer than a month
I've been saving for Arlecchino for 8 months and it's rough but knowing I'll have her and her weapon for sure makes it worth it
I just realized a kinda fun maybe idea for a Genshin play through what if you just play Genshin normally but you can’t use the time wheel thing idk if the quests and stuff work if you wait for the time naturally but I think it would be a little fun but still not to different from the original game

I've been saving since the beginning of this banner, since I already have Yae & Xiao and don't want to pull for them and currently have 48 wishes saved up, with a few more days to go :) I've never really saved up before but I really wanna get Itto and Neuvi and having 48 wishes just from saving on this banner makes me kind of proud of myself :D Good luck on saving and may everyone get their wishes granted 🙏
I’ve been saving since Chenyu Vale came out and I’m at 96 fates at the moment. That area is amazing for primogems, there so many big boi chests

(and her weapon) i’m currently saving for chiori, and i have about 6k primos
I remember saving around 30k for Albedo first rerun since he was like the last main character I really wanted at the time, and I saved for about 2/3 months until he FINALLY got a rerun banner. Which I got him and lvl 90ed him and triple crowned him day 1 I got him. His event weapon was the first weapon I lvled to lvl 90 and got an achievement from it.

after i pulled lyney in 4.0 i saved up until furina arrived. that meant i had 2 patches worth of time to farm for her (i pulled lyney on the first day of 4.0 i think lol). i saved up around 15k-20k primos to pull for her. it was something... what was funny for me was that everyone was hating on her in 4.0 and 4.1 because she's a "BRaT" and saying they're not gonna pull for her and i was just like "she's so cute and silly! how can you hate her?!"- there's also the fact that i may or may not have seen a leak about the 4.2 story quest sooooooo... yea
3:20 i started saving primogems for albedo in 4.1 and i had about 230 wished in 4.5 when thr chronical banner dropped. However i had like 100 more wishes that i spent on navia and xiao while waiting for albedo to escape the hoyobasement

I returned to Genshin around the time this year's Lantern Rite began, and since I had all of Sumeru and Fontaine to do, I am currently at ~21k primos and 64 intertwined. Arlecchino please become playable soon, I want this nightmare to end.

I do alot of world quests from NPCs some are long and some are short but I've mainly done a few shorter ones and I've been racking up that 30 primos or 60 primos plus whiles I'm doing them I encounter chests on my way that I've missed so they give primos and also I would be completing some of the achievements so I get a whole lot more. Something I haven't done at all is anyone's Hangouts or story quests unless I need them done to move on to something there's a lot of primos there as well. I wouldn't say it's difficult just takes longer and I know this video is just showing within a 4 hour time but it takes a whole lot longer than just 4 hours to get a lot of primos.

I’ve been saving for about a bit over a week for furina and gained like 5300 primos and all I really needed was 1600 but I decided to keep grinding just in case I don’t get her and it reaches hard pity

PS:I am going to pull for kazuha when he comes out and I have everything but artifacts prepare for him ,I don't get em main stat at all em sub stat I do but not alot of it,one more thing can I give sacrificial sword on him instead of fav sword cuz uhm... I don't have one yet- hehe.. Sorry if I write so much and made u have to see this a while 😅😅😅
You can use Sacrificial sword in him, but if you have sword billets, craft Iron Sting for him. It helps with elemental mastery, which he needs a lot of. He's my favorite character, and I hope you get him and love him as much as I do.

I build pity usually, but in other games that don't save your pull history, I save them.
With the new banner in Genshin, I might start doing the same in Genshin, so.
I saved about 9600 primos/60 wishes (exactly 60) in a little under(or over, i forgot) 2 months, then blew them all on kazuha's rerun, lost the 50/50 to tighnari, & then saved wishes again for scara's banner which i got him on the first day of his banner :D

if you count the free lim. 5 star HSR gave as 100 wishes, which is the average it takes, then HSR gives just shy of 10x the passive/event based rewards Genshin does, or has since it released. obvs there's more around the world to collect, but it rarely exceeds a wish an hour, so naturally i just watch ppl play this game now lol
I had about 35k primos saved (with some spent here n there for new characters) back in February 2023. Just doing events, abyss, and ofc dailies. Saved for about 4-6 months plus all the shop resets. I was wishing on the Yelan reun with hu tao and got C1 Yelan and staff of homa. Good times 😊
i've been saving primos since like june/july for xiao rerun and i had almost 50k as well, i got C1 xiao and i still have 210 wishes left for kazuha
U know it's not going great when the dendro character is paired with the anemo and cryo character
I’ve been saving for furina for a while now (because I started genshin right after her banner ended) and I have 100 wishes exactly saved so far

i think they changed it to where remarkable chests actually give you primos now-- they should give you 5 primogems
If I count all my wishes, I’m pretty sure I gathered around 500 wishes in 4/5 months, pity 80 I got tighnari on raiden’s banner, got raiden pity 18, on nahida’s banner I got dehya pity 54, then nahida at 67, on xianyun’s banner I got keqing at pity 75, xiao came on pity 75, and yae miko came at pity 81 being my first 50/50 win and I still had 8k gems left, so around 50 pulls left, which surprisingly is exactly 500 lol
hey kato! what do u think about doing something like 12 pulls a banner challenge? basically u have to do a single pull, a ten pull and another single pull on every banner xd it feels more like pulls decite that way, just an idea tho 😅
