These are my go to boiler. Hot water priority with different fire rates for heating or hot water. Decent to work on, deathly silent when running and just a better boiler than previous models. Their own brand controls are far better now too. The ionization probe basically measures the calorific value via combustion so it knows what gas is in there, idea being it can self adjust between different gas families so it's hydrogen and lpg ready out the box. Not entirely sure how it works but that was the explanation the Valliant rep gave me. Lovely install as usual.
Yep fitted one today, converted to LPG is a piece of piss, easiest boiler I've had for that. Only grumble was the stupid insulation pad on the back, and registration for warranty on the phone was a fckn joke of 30 mins and 6 calls 🤬
I dont install vaillant more vessmann, anyway, got a system 610 going in. The customer is an old chap he doesn't want a senso comfort. He wants a dial. I'm struggling looked and read your post. Any recommendations on controls Vrc71? Don't think vaillant support openthem, so I'm wondering if it's worth it.
@@VerdantHeating Only just seen your comment, Vaillant do a digital screen/dial stat - Senso Room and you can use the timer built into the boiler. Then the VR62 wiring centre if it's just hot water and one heating zone. Otherwise you're into the VR71 wiring centre for more zones/secondary hot water etc.
I have just had this boiler installed last two days. But warm water not working sometimes cold sometimes luke warm water. The burner light comes on for like 5 seconds when hot water tap is on but goes off and water starts to go cold and the flow temperature on the boiler decreases also any ideas why this is?
I have indeed waiting for the engineer to come back to have a look hopefully tomorrow! Although he cant understand him self why a new boiler would cause this issue. Thank you @@cputilitysolutions
yes the ion probe does monitor the incoming gas, and adjusts the mix, word of warning DO NOT TOUCH THE ION PROBE , the coating is special. touching it WILL kill it, as stated at VALANT launch conference and training course
I’ve always been told not to cut inner flue with angle grinder.. something about the heat can cause the plastic to fail??? I have no idea if this is the case however
Fitted one today, nice boiler but what a ballache registering the warranty over the phone. Absolutely pain in the ass and reminds me why i dont fit them much. Nice vid anyway brudda ❤💪👊
@@laurencelagden yes it is in the benchmark book bout should be for those who are gas safe registered to have access to it not anyone to put they hands on it .
Hi, Had the new Ecotec Plus 826 installed, do you know when it switches between heating and hot water, if it’s meant to make this noise like gear changing or something. Not sure if it’s common issue or not? Say the central heating is on you go to use hot water it makes this noise when it changes over to hot water and then when you turn the tap off, it makes the noise again before switching back to central heating.
Yeah thats what the bloke from British Gas said too, but he said its normal the news ones all make this noise? Is this true? and if not i will call Vaillant and have them replace the diverter valve@@cputilitysolutions
I wish I had your back log of videos mate 😂❤ great one yet again!
Thanks mate! Well I had pretty much nothing in August once Jaisica was born so I should catch up to current works pretty soon!

Ah nice one thanks for the info on the ionisation probe 👊🏾

Tidy install. Really impressive new vaillant boiler range.
Thanks mate 👍🏾
If Luke gets a CP cap we should all get one.

Sounds like you may have a combustion issue. Have you contacted your installer?

I just do the warranty through the app. But yeah I'm not a massive fan of the new Vaillants
@@cputilitysolutionsYea will do the installer app next time, had no data as out in the sticks 😅😎
Very good 😊

Hi the dewalt mini cutter you use to cut the flue, what is it? Nice job 👍
Search for DeWalt mini angle grinder 👍🏾
Expensive piece of kit.
Excellent video do you not stop for something to eat.
Yeah have a quick break for lunch and then crack on!
No Magna clean? Warranty issues?
The Vaillant filter gives 10yr warranty with the boiler 👍🏾
Didn't know you can terminate condense pipe before water trap
Boiler has its own trap 👍🏾
not a new video then recorded in july
Well observed 👍🏾
The code you should of kept it secret it’s only for engineers
It’s hardly a secret. It’s in the literature that comes with the boiler.
You sound to young to comment about this, probably some 17 year old 🤫

Sounds like the diverter valve
