Great video mate. It's so refreshing to see that there are still some honest people like yourself willing to take the time to explain all this to people. Plus, even better is that even you yourself don't mind anyone pointing out any mistakes you might be making. That takes guts mate. I applaud you and no doubt you will be successful anyways.
Great video. The air separator is upside down but it is a nice neat install with pride taken in the work. I do wish people would take as much pride doing installs. Good job! When fitting a boiler I pipe from left to right, especially on the plus and the pros, so you have room to turn your spanner without hitting other pipes, makes your life easier! Also when I solder I start from the top of the fitting, that way as you solder it runs down into the rest of the fitting and you never get runs out the bottom. Hope this helps someone 👍🏻
@@PlumbingDoctors whatever works best for you! 👍🏻 I also start soldering round the back. Guaranteed if it’s going to run, it’s going to run where you first touch the fitting 😂

Great video mate, I like your honesty, you don’t have to be the best as long as we are all learning something new, I’m definitely going to put the boiler tails on first next time I fit one. The only thing I dislike about this boiler is the plastic bottoms as it’s easy to melt while soldering even with a heat mat. 👍🏼
These boilers are abosolute nightmare to install the plastic bottoms are horrendous, where you have to cut the membrane to wire it up are useless if the cable gets pulled and the hole becomes to big the boiler essentially is not room sealed no more. The connections are ridiculously hard to do up. The fact you have to turn the boiler on to fill it up and pressurise it another ball ache. All round shit
One thing for sure. If you don't plumb in the valves first by turning the boiler upside down you'll get totally pissed by the time you realise you didn't read the MI. Even so. The only reason you'd use this boiler is space. Done loads and had a couple issues later. Vaillant came out and sorted 🙏🏼 You'll always have an issue with most boilers. It's life. Regarding soldering underneath. Just use a heat mat. Problem solved 😂

It's the same as a Heatline Capriz 2 inside too. Glow worm is the same inside like you say. It's plastic inside and has an aluminium heat exchanger. Budget boiler at a higher price. Aluminium corrodes easily into the condense trap and also rots fast if inhibitor level is low. Stainless steel will not rot at all.
How much would you charge for new boilwer and putting in the eco fit pure 830 with a filter , 2 x45 degree joints for the flue and 2 meters verticall going out the roof. Chemical flush , would you do a power flush if the water is dirty but no sludge or hard parts in the radiators..
Hi, thanks for the video. What I did not understand is that you soldered the connections while pipes were connected to valves on the boiler and on isolator valves. My point is - is it safe to do that? Is heating up the valves going to damage their seals or any other rubber/plastic parts close to the soldering? Thanks.

Hello Brother Waseem hope all is good. My elderly parents are thinking about replacing their 17 year old combination boiler. A gas engineer recently visited my parents property and informed that installation of a new boiler would involve draining/bleeding all the radiators in the property. Is this correct, as it sounds dubious?
