I loved your POV. I’m flying the opposite direction. Our first Intl trip. PDX to LHR so it will be a long flight (actually PDX to SLC then to LHR. I love the way you gave me a pretty good show of the food. That’s what hooked me. I also have decided to video my trip. I know nothing about doing a video so this will be interesting (I’m 71)
This looks so nice. I got approved to study at a Japanese university next academic year and I’m waiting for T-14 J availability on JL flights. Hoping I can snag one for 60k points so I don’t have to fly economy! Edit: I ended up booking First Class for just 80,000 😅
✈️ I'm heading to HND in September on ANA 1st class there and Business class back, very excited! I think it's the older cabin so Delta One is probably nicer hard product, but I'm looking forward to ANA food and beverage for my trip, your short ribs made me hungry!
✈️ we are traveling to Tokyo on Delta in November. We will be in Delta One on the way home to Seattle. I did notice from a couple of other vids that the dinner menu was really good but the breakfast was just sort of “meh”. Is it enough room for someone 6’3”?
I know you used the GUC to upgrade to PS. How did you get upgraded to Delta One? Delta said Diamond Medallion members only get upgraded from economy to Comfort +. Am I missing something?
GUC gets you from MC to PS. PS is on DoD waitlist for D1. ✈️ Great video I can’t wait to fly business (Delta One Suites) to Tokyo from NYC. I’ve never flown the Suites configuration. I do have an upcoming trip to Amsterdam in the Suites, so that will give me a chance.
Flying to and from Denver to Rome on Delta One through JFK in a few days. The return trip includes this A330-900neo. Thanks for the short and sweet review!
✈️ Happy to see your travel video on D1 suites. It looks very nice. You ate your way across the Pacific😂. Hope you guys had a wonderful time in Japan. See you next time!
I’ve stayed away from U.S. carriers to Asia. I think Delta was my last one. I used to fly Northwest all the time but Delta never impressed me. How did this flight compare to your flight to Bangkok on HongKong Airlines business class. I was lucky enough to fly that one. Next one is China Airlines to Chiangmai in December.
✈️ I want to try the Business Delta flight but their point requirement are always so high. Quick question do you tip after your flight when flying business ? If so what’s a good range ?
Most airlines have a policy against tipping: onemileatatime.com/guides/tipping-flight-attendants/ Some people bring a gift for the whole crew to share like a box of chocolates or goodie bags. If you want to make an impact, most airlines have a "job well done" certificate for elite members that you can give to employees.
✈️ great video! Were there any vaccine requirements or tests needed for international travel to Japan and coming home to the states? Or just the mask upon arrival? Keep up great content 👍🏼
✈ Thanks for sharing. Seeing you and Mandy travel with upgrades, but being normal people, makes me feel like we can do aspirational travels too. I need to watch more of your channel, but you're a bit too caffeinated in your talk track for me 😳. I need to remedial listening.
Which Sony camera (and lens/mic) were you using for this?

Always fun to see a upload here! Videos like this make me want to travel again. 😊
This might be a dumb question but how do you tell if the system did or did not put you on the list? Is it on the app somewhere? First time using GUC
✈️Glad to see an upload on this channel again! I want to try Delta One, seems like a great product!
Thanks for watching! :)

Here I am with 2 kids flying Spirit Airlines living vicariously through Sebby and Mandy…
Wait until they're P3 and P4 though!
I really enjoyed your video and the overview of the flight experience. Considering this suite for a flight from Incheon to Seattle. ✈
Did you fly same delta one back to SFO? or just one way delta one to japan?
✈️ I'm heading to HND in September on ANA 1st class there and Business class back, very excited! I think it's the older cabin so Delta One is probably nicer hard product, but I'm looking forward to ANA food and beverage for my trip, your short ribs made me hungry!
ANA is going to be a treat.

✈️ I flew Delta One for the first time last year to Croatia, and I loved it! I’m forever spoiled now for sure!

ugh 15k miles! I barely watch the screen since I always get a few episodes and movies on my laptop/phone before flying. Now I wish it was broken haha

Food looked pretty good all-in-all,not bad for plane food.,looks like you were pretty well looked after you two👍
Looks like Delta's best Biz product to date, and now really looking forward to flying it! Nice content, keep it up.
Great video! I want to try the same suite on the Detroit to Tokyo flight ✈️
✈✈✈Business class looked like a winner!
Did the FA give you the 15,000 points on the plane? Did you ask for the points?
Yes, the purser can issue points on the plane for any incidents you encounter.
✈️✈️✈️✈️ having a long layover in haneda in April. Wondering how was customs when ya landed
Customs wasn't bad if you filled out forms ahead of time. ~ 10-15 min.
Can you compare ANA the room with this delta one suite
ANA The Room >>>> Delta One Suite. Will have The Room video up soon!
Look like you guys had a good flight, I think you hit Japan same time we did. As always great video !
I am pleasantly surprised how opulent D1 is to Japan. I would love to experience this flight.
Why did the watch jump from your left wrist to the right? 😀
I'm left handed so don't mind it on either wrist 🙃
✈️ love the travel vids!
✈️ Love the travel vlogs!
Thanks! :)
How’d you book the flight :D
✈️ How many points did you use to get this awesome flight?
Ended up using expiring GUCs (from Delta Diamond status) :)

Fares from SFO to TYO is crazy. Weird pricing system. Where are the saver redemptions too?!?!
Nice video 📹 👍🏻 and nice ⌚️ what is the name of it.
✈ would like to try D1 Suites one day

Looks like an amazing aircraft you were on.
Always love seeing your travel videos! Surprised to see the food on Delta One on par with the Japanese/Asian carriers.
They actually had desserts but they finally brought back the dessert cart so that's the "big deal"
Wow I love DELTA
0:58 non-rev’s worse nightmare 😭 😂
Wooo
Nice panda!

nice panda daytona!

Macallan 12 years? Tell them you want the 25 or 30 years, sherry single barrel.
Ha! Doesn't exist on Delta business flights 😂
✈
Forgot you had this channel 🍣

He tried to forget but I reminded him.
