    Nice video. Thanks.
However, if you look near the bottom side of the jar, it says "Shake well before using" in bold type. If your like me, I shake everything anyhow, but just though you should know it does say to shake it.

Informative video, but remember with RIT dyes that the lighter the colors the more the product is needed to darken. Also you have to watch how much of a darker color like black you use as you have to add it in increments of either 1/2 to 1 ounce of product to darken otherwise the lighter color will be lost.

I have to do a OD butt plate. I like how you did your stock; how much black did you use? I have heard people going 30 minutes. Do you use more than one treatment? Thanks for the video!

Pew-Tang Clan I appreciate the feedback. Especially considering the grip was hard to come by.
I’ve done a butt plate but nothing that you regularly use or as big as a grip or hand guard.
Tuesday’s the night fde➡️black, wish me luck!

Pew-Tang Clan thanks! It worked great! Did the treatment 2x & the black definitely pops now. Definitely appreciate the video & encouragement!

What about shotgun shells? Would this work if brushed or sprayed on?

And now Magpul makes a sand color which makes it easier to dye the furniture

It depend on the color really, lighter color is easier to dyed over but darker one is tricky.
