I got a MARS release system - as as lefty it lets me use my thumb on my left hand to eject but it actually also extends the mag release on the other side which I'm used to hitting with my middle finger on my left hand. The only issue is the slightly different angle of the dagger grip meant that the new mag release juts out maybe 1/16" - enough so that once every few reloads I would feel the mag catch on it. Took it out and used a dremel tool and some find sandpaper to grind an angle into the new mag release and now I can't get it to catch even if I try. Definitely a cool system - turns the usually obsolete right side of the mag release into a lever that tugs the mechanism through the handle.

OEM. You’d think it was how hard the spring was that makes pressing the release so hard but it’s the lack of real estate for your thumb. Try it with the OEM spring but larger release; you’ll be surprised.

Good video, I’m about to do the same swap. I don’t mind Glock triggers too much, but I HATE the Dagger trigger. Bought a Shadow Systems Glock trigger for $20, hoping it improves my shooting experience with the Dagger.

Thanks for the video. Just picked up and installed the Vicker's extended release. Miles better and fixed my issue.

The mag release he recommends is MILES better than the stock one. Installation is about as easy as it can be given the stock retention spring, but once you get it installed, it feels SO SO much nicer. If you have a Dagger with the stock mag release, BUY BUY BUY the upgraded release linked in the description I can NOT recommend it enough.
