Great video with amazing video quality. A great looking game that I would love to play but would never get it to the table. Too big, too complex, too long to set up and take down. Can’t believe you don’t have more subscribers. Awesome job.
Thanks for checking it out Johnny! I really like this one but I agree that it will very rarely hit the table unless we do a dedicated game day. Really glad it’s coming back to life though - I definitely think there’s an audience for it! Since I started this channel, I’ve learned a lot about lighting and audio/video editing and nothing about promotion, marketing or algorithms. I appreciate your kind words though!
You may like Oathsworn, Midarra, Tanares Ultimate just launched a great version, and in addition, Tainted Grail just launched its 2.0 version and expanded with Kings of Ruin. All are excellent.
Everything I’ve seen and heard about Tainted Grail make it seem very cool. Midarra is on my radar too! I don’t know anything about Oathsworn or Tanares. Thanks for the suggestions!
If I have to name similar games, then only Runebound 3rd edition comes to my mind. Both games are very similar, but euthia is quite a lot more of everything (in a good and bad way). Some folks compare it to the hexplore it series, but from my point of view, it is the same as the comparison to mage knight that comes up quite often. It looks similar, but plays and feels completely different. The designers say it was heavily influenced by pc games like heroes of might and magic 3 (the griffon is very reminiscent of the griffons from that game) but in the end there is no city building and no moving armies. Again, it is just the look that is somewhat comparable.
Yes! Thanks for the suggestion. I’m aware of Mage Knight but I’ve never played. Every time I’m on a call with Jeremy Howard I see it in the background!
Kinda blows that this is a dead game now. And yes, the thing way one metric ton and i would rather never have to move it ever again. Unless i'm getting back into free weights, in which case it will end up in my gym.

Great vid, Energy & gameplay explanation!!
Thanks Mark! Glad you liked it - there are so many things going on in Euthia that it was hard to narrow them down!

@@brainsongames hope you find these interesting; they are all truly superb.
This is the kind of homework I like.
@Deltium5683 Oathsworn is so f*cking good! Best game I've played in a while.
@stokesy2469 it’s on my Christmas list…
Ugh I saw may 9th and assumed it would go live at midnight or something. Looking forward to seeing this review.
8 PM tonight, so I can join anyone who decides to watch!

Thanks for the info Patrick! I’m not familiar with Runebound.
You asked about similar games. I assume you're familiar with Mage Knight. If not, look it up. It should interest you.

All true. Keep up the good work!
It’s back! Torment of Resurrection has been resurrected!
