The Elementum has a black wash finish, will protect the D2 blade a bit better. Also it's a hollow grind! Despite the fact that don't have either of them, the elemntum might be a better cutter. Not to mention, every single Civivi I got, I put my own edge on right after purchase, they absolutely suck with factory "nearly absent edges". Quite honestly, all my fixed blades are Esee, Tops, and Lionsteel. God bless.
Thanks for the response. As soon as I can get outside, I want to do a review on my Esee 6. And I'm getting into Tops Knives more and more. I'm still waiting for the Steel Eagle Delta. So far, no one has it.

I thought I would lean to the elementum but the more i look at it the more i like the lines of the tamashii. Also the hollow grind is a hard no from me.

I've got both and the civivi tamashii a better slicer. Noticeably better in fact.
