In my case, i did use to take a lot of time to reply but not for the sake of game playing, i was just being too nervous about what to reply (so it didnt feel natural at all for me) which did affect the overall progress of us dating...
do you advise us to call the guy instead of texting? Is it a way to set, not standards, but just a way of communicating personal preference (when we are 3 weeks into dating)?

In my case when I reply I don't hear back from him until the next day . so I take my time in responding unless it's a question since we're usually both at work.

I am a guy and stopped dating after I found out that the woman that has a lot of high value and which I had an instant connection with liked to go out every now and then to get drunk.
