Boxing is a noble sport, but not every fighter plays by the rules. The sport is full of tricks like pulling, pushing, and subtle illegal hits and many more. It's important to always stay alert and know what might be coming. In this video, we'll go through 11 dirty boxing tactics:
1. Hitting illegal places
2. Hitting with illegal parts of the body
3. Pulling
4. Pushing
5. Leaning on
6. Stepping on feet
7. Holding and hitting
8. Using the inside part of the gloves
9. Applying force on pressure points
10. Time-wasting tactics
11. Faking handshake or speaking
I also show examples of how great fighters like Tyson Fury, Deontay Wilder, Vasyl Lomachenko, Roy Jones Jr., and Volodymyr Klitschko used these tactics to gain an advantage over their opponents.

Tyson Fury's style could literally just be described as dirty boxing. He does like half the things on this list every match. Especially the clinch and lean.
Yeah he’s a very good example of a dirty fighter. We can all learn a lot from him
@@akhotinbxng You should do style breakdowns of some of your favorites. It would be interesting to hear your insights.
You can get away with more fouls in pro than amateur.
I think he uses the best mean guy boxing. It can actually be fun to compete against. It’s like he’s using Super Sayin 3. 🐲🐲
His face in the thumbnail got me
Hahaha I was trying to seem as cunning as possible
The Bill Cosby stare.
Just discovered your channel brother, I have to say that your way of explaining is just so clear and understandable. Your english is impeccable, keep up the good work! Strength and honor from Germany.
Thank you! It’s so good to hear 🇩🇪🤝🇺🇦
the way he said "break you" gave me Drago flashbacks
Ahahah for real. Btw I often get compared with him
@@akhotinbxngIvan Drago if he was lightweight not heavyweight
The camera work is getting so good mate. Keep going strong!
Thank you! Trying to improve every single video
We need a dempsey roll tutorial 🔥🗣
I’m not very competent at that cause I’m an outfighter. But I can do my research and try to make a tutorial
Imo, the problem with most of fighting sport and martial arts is that they don't teach you how to defend yourself or use those dirty technique. When you fight in a ring for example, you will not use it and you will not confront it (if everyone follow the rules ofc), but in a street fight, most of the opponents will use those techniques or worst (like use a weapon, call friend or whatever). And its for that that i consider fighting sport and martial arts less efficient in a real fight. Also, your opponent can use other style, like if you are a boxer but your opponents is a judoka or a MMA fighter, you will confront techniques that you usually don't, like kicks, joint locks, body slam or whatever. So, a video of how to counter those dirty techniques without breaking the rules would be really good imo. Good video!
Yes, I totally agree with you. My coach had dozens of street fights and he taught me and other guys in our gyms some basic principles of street fighting
Countering those dirty tricks without breaking the rules is actually difficult. In most cases the best you can do is to let referee know about the problem
His face on the thumbnail looks like that one friend in class who is about to say something unhinged.
Ahahaha perfect description :)
lets goo thanks again , you are one of my favourite coaches on youtube 😎👍 time to be an even bigger menace🗿
Thx for the feedback! Much appreciated 🤙
@@akhotinbxng 😎👍 Ill follow you to the ends of the world , i love your videos, so much knowledge crammed into such a short amount time, but also easy to digest and understand
keep doing what you are doing, forever one of my go to coaches on youtube, no matter what the view counts say, your knowledge has been insanely insanely crazy good and useful to me 🗿
Can you please do a video about pressure fighting, how to do it correctly (especially for shorter fighters)? Love your videos.
Hey! I will put it in my content ideas list
Love your channel, you cover so many cool details and strategies of boxing that it’s hard to find elsewhere on UA-cam. And you explain everything so clearly. Also, this is random haha but my irl boxing coach is a Ukrainian guy named Adrian and you remind me of a younger version of him 😂 soviet/eastern style boxing is no joke!
Thank you for the feedback! It’s so nice to hear
Wow that’s a cool coincidence, say hi to him for me ;)
Haha will do! Maybe I’ll try some of your tricks on him, I’m sure I’ll still get my ass kicked 😂
Don't forget the shoulder out of the clinch. You let go off the clinch and "roll" backwards And hit the opponent with the shoulder
Yes, that’s another common one
Teach us how to continuously pendulum bounce forward. Pendulum bounce continuously backward and attacks of it in both directions.
I already shared videos where I cover what you’re asking. You can find it on my channel
@@akhotinbxng thank you I’ll have a look. I couldn’t find it before but I’ll look again. Can u tell me what the name of the vid is pls. 🙏🏼
my coach literally taught us pulling hands down as a move, like george foreman for example. Isn't it fine as long as you don't hold and punch? If you let go before landing
That is okay. Technically it’s against the rules but most people allow it so you can do that
Can you talk about Duran's dirty techniques and how he used them so commonly without being caught and such? His infighting style is really interesting but dirty.
He’s a master of that. Maybe I will cover his techniques in another video
@@akhotinbxng Awesome! Thanks for taking it into consideration.
I used to sometimes push when my jab doesn't work due to my sparring partner's high guard . I don't do it anymore since this doesn't really work that well and it makes your shoulders more tired (I do kickboxing) .
Yeah you can do that very situationally to make it effective
I knew majority of them the biceps hip stepping on the feet but is all ways go to add more dirty tactics to my arsenal
That’s true :)
Have you ever used a dirty tactic before? When I first started boxing I use to push my opponent away a lot, I stopped when my coach told me to stop pushing or he wouldn’t let me spar anymore. Haven’t done that since then
I mostly fight fairly and used pushing and pulling in some of my amateur fights to deal with dirty pressure fighters
Lenox Lewis did the clinch and lean with Tyson
Yes he did
His face in the thumbnail is me making a decision I'd regret 2 years later in life and laugh at 10 years later
Ahahah
nice video but show me the rule that hitting on the arms is illegal / foul
That may be allowed by the rules but it is still not right. I think you wouldn’t do that to your friend in a sparring so you shouldn’t do that to an opponent
Just my thoughts
@@akhotinbxng i like that attitude, and boxing without fairness is nothing! but from a technicaal point of view there are quite the options to change the game up when you use advanced hand and arm manipulations / parries....why only block opps fist when you can als stop the fist by targeting opps arm (which can give you advantage by beeing closer distance to your opp...)
Good video
Thx for the feedback
Can you make a Cleveland Williams Enthusiast video
I will note that but I don’t promise
andrii's face on the thumbnail is literally someone's face after they tell you to not smile if you don't lie.
Ahahah well described
Never thought pulling was dirty
Everyone using it but it’s still against the rules
Again this time you know everithing it looks like!?😐🤔 and here are some of that i use as well. Example..and since i am a kickboxer in the clinch i can use my knee to strike as we all know,..but i , the knee,as you described prefer to use it as a preparation for the hands as you showed here, so we all know; the clinch, my stance is at 90 in relation to the opponent, shoulder to his shoulder, i push his knee, same time front lowered hand push him away; the well known 'chicken wing' techniqe..after that cross ,hook or whateva..and another one i love / clinch techn. when i get them to we push each other. He pushes me, i quickly backwards its almost pull him and blow. These simple ones are the best and some that i like to slip trough if i can, if i can not,..it doesn't matter, these are fun.
And yes you are something.is there anything you don't know about this!?and really so young...
Ok now a little bit of criticism, i regret you my go through these maby little bit to quickly( thats why i deliberately described chichen wing tech. with more detail than you, 🤭🤔or iam not nevermind🙂), and from the pervious vids i can see that you can and..that you know summarise things in most important.. and..clear ( ..how to say), . thats how i see you are special . And that i am probably twice as old as you, i see it may be a little bit different from you, maybe i can better se how well you re doing. Stick to it you are special. extra, but iam saiyng you are young, so you not avare of.👊💥💫💤 greetings to you.🖐 Ave
Hey! Thx for the breakdown and support.
You explained the “chicken wing” really well. I could go deeper into it but didn’t want to make the video too long. Maybe I will go deeper on that in a video about infighting tactics
Appreciate your kind words 🤝
Infighting is striking with standup wrestling
Well said
Roberto Duran grew his beard in order to rub it in opponents faces in the clinch!😮
Genius
I had no idea that pulling was illegal! 😮
Illegal by the rules but accepted by community
thanks! the guy best friend had no chance after i stepped on his foot to eliminate any posability of escape
Poor friend 🥲
Ah, yes. The good ol' "punch to the back of the head" to gave the opponent severely likely brain damage
Yeah that’s something any fighter should not do to their opponent
@@akhotinbxng Nah, any real life person and fictional character should not do that
@@akhotinbxng we need better refs
Just know that you are getting brain damage regardless. This is boxing
@@badwerds the difference is,back hits deal more cte,the others are more tame compared to that stupid back head.
Good
Thanks
can u guys tell me which is straight up illegal and which one is acceptable like I see tyson fury doing half of those things he aint getting blacked bruv
Well they are all against the rules but some of them are accepted by the industry
Completely illegal: hitting not allowed places, hitting with not gloves, holding and hitting, stepping on feet intentionally, using inside part of the glove to tear facial skin
The rest are more or less normal and many fighters do that
As a casual boxing fan, I thought many of these techniques were legal 🤐🤫😅
Some of them are legal but still dirty :)
lol i will make sure to try these out
But be careful not to hurt your friends
Bro can you make a video on your training regimen?
I can do that but not very specific as it’s a part of the KO Boxing Package
Speaking of knees, your left leg looks a little banged up and twisted, hope you're doing good buddy.
Gotta be careful with everything 'joints'
Ohh, my leg good. All I got was a mosquito bite
Is hitting biceps illegal?
It’s against the rules but mostly people close their eyes on it
@@akhotinbxng it's surprising, I thought hitting arms is fine as it's not a low blow and not below the waist
Sigma
😄
thanks for the tactics
Any time!
Fury should have a point deducted each round!
Fax
Remember: all of this is legal in a street fight!😮
😄
Recuerden bien mi estilo sera un asco pero me reuso a romper las reglas

Bro sorry i didnt know what to write
Fücking illegal 😂
