There's only supposed to be a 'lever protector' on one side. It's a race bike thing to prevent the front brake being applied if there's contact with other bikes. They're kind of pointless for a road bike.
The problem with buying used sports 125 bikes , is they are likely to have been ragged at full throttle most of the time. Me personally if I was a new rider , just planning to ride a 125 until I got my full licence, I would just buy an ordinary budget 125 utility street come commuter bike new ,or used if I knew it’s last owner was responsible owner . I would save the extra money that bikes like Yamaha YZF cost ,to put towards a 500 or 600 cc once a full licence was secured . I don’t reckon there is 2 grands worth of difference from a budget 125 sport bike costing around 3 grand to one from a premium brand costing 5 plus grand new . So unless I really desired a 125 cc premium sports bike that was forever a keeper , I wouldn’t shell out the type of bunce required to obtain a new or even used 125 cc bikes like the Yam YZF or equivalent price point bikes .
I agree completely. I mean I did really enjoy riding this bike, but I really enjoy riding keeways and Benelli’s as well, Infact I find them more comfortable so I can ride them for longer. But for those that just have to have a sports bike it’s an option.
@@GillyBikes I suppose if they must have a YZF or similar big brand top of their range 125 sport , then it’s better option than shelling out the full price of a new one ,as long as it hasn’t been totally ragged everywhere from A to B . 👍
@@GillyBikes That’s nice to know for the next person to purchase if . To be honest my body would end up seized after riding one of them new fangled 125 or any sports bike . I had to get rid of my beloved Bandit , as my body used to be seized up & racked with pain after a long ride ,so they would need to prize me off a Sports 125 if I rode one for more than 10 mins . Hence my new preference for adventure style more sit up riding position . If I was looking for 125 it would more likely to be used Honda Valdero or new Sinnis Terrain for chugging around on . 👍
Not a massive fan of sports bikes, low or high cc they just don't appeal to me, they're just not comfortable to me at all, personally would much rather buy an upright commuter bike, touring, scrambler/cafe type thing at a slightly lower cost, insurance is often cheaper on them too.
Now I’ve got older I feel the same way I’ve always thought sports bikes are for the youngsters. Now I’ve got older I appreciate them but I wouldn’t buy one.
I couldn't believe it, one of your reviews that the rain didn't interrupt 😂👍
I know. It’s the first dry one for a while. 😎

Thanks for that. I just think it looks weird. I’m used to the adventure bikes were they protect both. Looks odd with just 1.

This one seemed ok to be honest. A nice bike to ride and everything worked. 👍

I’m with you on all of that. It’s all about the comfort for me now.
It looks nice but I really like the GSXR-125 that’s my favourite and I think it looks better. This look nice though.
The GSXR is my favourite as well. 👍
