About Me:
Hi, I'm Louise! I started this channel in 2010 after readers of my blog (called Sprinkle of Glitter) suggested I give UA-cam a try. I was instantly hooked and have found my internet playground on here. I make videos about plus size fashion, motherhood, lifestyle and occasionally have special guests (friends, kittens or my sweet Daughters Darcy, 12 and Pearl, 5).
I also write (book number SIX is out now!), podcast (Mother's Meeting, series 2 out now) and waffle on all over instagram.

Im an electrical engineer and I LOVE how you're supporting Pearl and showing her STEM things! Us women in STEM are powerful, and encouragement from a young age is something I wish more of us had 💜
I deffo recommend introducing Pearl to some of the amazing women who have worked in space it inspired me so much as a child!

I watch your vlogs to get by in the day. I am almost 30 years old, have no children (and no plans to have any) and I have ADHD. As an adult I really struggle to do standard daily tasks. If I'm having a better day and feel like I can just about get through some tasks that my brain feels is boring and not stimulating enough, I watch your vlogs as I do things like the washing, loading or unloading the dishwasher or even making lunch or dinner. Your vlogs make my life a little easier to get by and I really appreciate and love them no matter what they're about.
Always watch for relaxation. Watching you is like getting the biggest squishiest, most wonderful hug and that was definitely needed today! ❤️❤️ Thank you so much for taking us along with you xxxx

Watching a video is my brief respite as a mummy/ parent carer to our disabled daughter 😜 ...We live in Leicestershire 🎉 and the space centre is fabulous for accessibility for disabled people, they have a great changing spaces 🚻🧻 facility too. Pay once and you can keep returning for the year for free, perfect for home educating families like us👌🤩

There's another (free!) museum next to the Space Centre which is the industrial museum for the city. They do all sorts of events with a little steam train and stuff. It's popular as a stop off before or after the Space Centre (there's a little playground, too) making it a full day out. Abbey Park is also nearby.
All of the City Council museums in Leicester are free admission :)
Good to know for anyone visiting, especially with the summer holidays!
This was so cute, I love seeing kids get interested in space! I wanted to go here since my brother went with his friend when I was about 10 and finally went last year for my 27th birthday 😂 still just as obsessed with space as I was then and I had the best day! And to answer your question I was watching as I got ready for the day

It depends on the type of vlog, yours and some others I watch for the company…I like to listen to the chat and feel that I’m part of what people are doing. Videos like The Positano Diaries, I watch because I love where they live, I find their videos relaxing, and simple, the walks with the dogs, the bit of shopping, their garden, the kayaking and the sea.
I’ve almost always watched your videos in segments across different meals while I ate, but now I’m watching it before bed to unwind because either way your videos relax me! ❤️

I watch your vlogs when I get ready in the morning, like doing my makeup. I tend to rewatch them aswell to make sure I fully take them all in haha. Your videos are always so feel good 😊

Love this! I also have been very interested in space since I was a kid. When I was around 10 I did a report on Mars for school. During my research part I wrote a letter to NASA (aging myself there lol) and they sent me back this package with all kids of charts and pictures and this big poster that was a map of Mars. It was very cool!
Brings back so many memories when I used to take my boys there when they were little. Planetarium is amazing, seen a few different shows in there.

In answer to your question, I usually have you and other blogs perched on my mirror when I'm doing my makeup or hair cause it's comforting and I like being nosey at others lives. That or it's a day off and I am lazing in bed before I can be bothered to start the day!!!

I hardly ever (if ever) comment on UA-cam videos! (A silent viewer if you will) but have been watching your videos for a long time! Not sure what but something compelled me to answer todays question : I usually either watch your videos and most of the other content I watch here to be honest to relax! BUT this evening when writing this comment I am watching while I am working on a fiction passion project of mine and I am getting some writing done I went to the Huston space station a few years ago with some family and this visit brought back so many memories of that trip even if we were in a different country

I’d love to visit this place. Maybe we’ll have to book a holiday nearby at some point as I’m on the south coast. I love all things space. My daughter has a spaced themed name. She’s Eris, named after the dwarf planet. My son’s middle name is Luke (very loose space theme…Skywalker lol!)

Do you have a dryer? Whenever I have anything that’s a little too wrinkled I gently spray it with a little water and pop it in the dryer for 5 minutes!
