Hi, I'm Louise! I started this channel in 2010 after readers of my blog (called Sprinkle of Glitter) suggested I give UA-cam a try. I was instantly hooked and have found my internet playground on here. I make videos about plus size fashion, motherhood, lifestyle and occasionally have special guests (friends, kittens or my sweet Daughters Darcy, 12 and Pearl, 5).
I also write (book number SIX is out now!), podcast (Mother's Meeting, series 2 out now) and waffle on all over instagram.

Grief is so complex. It shows up not just when things are difficult, but also when things are going well. And it's hard to explain to the people around you that you're so happy you're miserable. Thanks for sharing the lows too xx

Used to love watching your videos 10 years ago, and I rediscovered you last year when I became a mum, your mum content helped a lot during a difficult transition, a sprinkle of glitter to my day always 🤍
Hi Louise, we had the Norwegian Fjords trip booked on Iona just as covid struck so it was cancelled at the last minute. We were meant to be taking that trip with my mum who sadly passed away 3 weeks ago today. I’m absolutely devastated and your comment about grief really struck a chord 😢
I’ve just had a look on the P&O website and they have the same cruise departing next summer on my mum’s birthday. I think it’s a sign that we should take the trip in her memory 💕

Lovely vlogs. And you look glowing and so happy! I share the unexpected waves of grief...my mum died 5 days after our first child was born so she never met our kids. You make me feel super cosy and I love all you do X

I feel your mum was with you when you had that emotional episode. I found it amazing when you found those two pictures on the wall of tge girls young & older. You had a moment where you said you found the 2nd picture emotional. I really felt that & im really thinking its a sign from your mum. Hearing you talk about you mother is like listening to my own thoughts. I lost my mom at 12 years old and there is so much I want to share with her and ask her, but I can't. Thank you for sharing the reality of losing a parent.

It’s so beautiful. It’s never easy with grief and unable to share things. This sounds silly but I was gutted when my handsome boy winter white hamster called vinny passed away. I now have a female version of him called abi and she is so like him in many ways. I do realise that a mum can’t be replaced etc. It looks like an amazing cruise and holiday too. Thanks for sharing again.
