Yup. I saw him play from about 5 feet away at UT-Austin's Cactus Cafe a few years ago. Naturally, I already knew his work with JB, plus solo and other recordings. David Lindley was a singular talent.

Bart Ramsey and Jumping Man Records salute Raccoon Records and also Jackson Browne, even though he's just a lucky bastard to be so dang talented. He's also a great humanitarian. As virtuosos go, it's great to see David Lindley on the gig. And who is that electric guitar player? Whatever happened to crediting the musicians? Wonderful rendition of that song, by the way. And what festival are they playing at? I'd only kind of like to know because so many people are wearing hats and looking relatively enlightened.
No, in an earlier video he says he's in Philadelphia. I didn't know Pennsylvania looked like that. Also its date late June of 2010, which is too late for Jazz fest.
R.I.P. David Lindley 🙏🌻
You will be sorely missed...always well remembered.

First time I heard this song I went the next morning and bought the record he's been my favorite ever since.💖
He is the poet of this era. His song lyrics provide insight into our social well being.
Another true contributor to add to a generation defined by the music and I thank God everyday I was around to see it happen 🙏 RIP David
It's a crime that these 2 guitar players didn't make the Rolling Stone top 100.
Agree what kind of guitar is that guy playing?
By far the most insightful so
ng ever written . Thanks for the post,.....
With the hate and discontent today in America this song has never been more appropriate. It truly stands the test of time, on a level of “Let It Be”.

My first favorite Jackson Browne song.
Awesome band, songs and gig.
Ephraim Lessell and Raccoon Records salute David Lindley, a wonderful musician and masterful accompanist
I couldn't agree more. David was truly both. Loved by so many.

Getting a little flashback of the Peanuts Gang when I hear this number. Hello Glastonbury 👋
I wonder if Jackson Browne knows that even the Jackson 5 covered this gorgeous song.

Is this JazzFest in NOLA?

I think it's The Glastonbury Festival in Somerset, England.
Ben Franklin on steel guitar 🎉
One of the best string artists ever. RIP David....
WHY can't someone trim the excess off the silly wrist bands the artists have to wear for the convenience of security?
Im at the front ! :)
Where is this concert?

Place is crawling with Dead Heads.
band's timing is off......who's the drummer?
Your ear is defective.
It’s just you
Fritz LeWak. He's not off, you are.
A lot of you seem to miss that it's an uninspired lackluster performance of a great song
I don't think I've ever seen David Lindley give a lackluster performance
