    Great video! You know Mel, he definitely believes in having tools! He actually had to give up a tool box when we had the bus. Now that we are home bound he can replenish what he gave up 🤣 Safe travels ❤~Mel & Nette

    Neatest tool storage on an rv I have ever seen. I keep my tools in a tote in the back of my truck because I have a shell and because I can’t go anywhere in the camp trailer without the truck, but I love your setup. I have a crescent tool kit with 1/4, 3/8, 1/2” ratchets, sockets, but keep them all in the truck due to weight. I have one for my 18 volt impact, drill, and 1/2” impact & sockets for that , in case of a flat. Last trip, my sliding bedroom door came unhooked and I had to remove the valance to put it back. Flat screwdriver, 12 volt impact with Phillips bit, done. Then when I closed the door for the first time ever, noticed the track flexing down from the ceiling. I had to go to Lowe’s and get some pan head screws, put thre screws into it. I did forget my bit tips, so broke down and bought a small bit/kit to leave in there. Videos like this, and time on the road fixing things will dictate what I bring in the future, thanks

      Thank you so much for your comment. I love how detailed you were. We used to keep our tools in the back of our truck when we had a Travel Trailer. Simply because we didn't have storage room in the trailer. Thanks again

    Great video Jerry and Teresa! I like the dehumidifier. We used to have one but it was a big one. We need one in our house for sure. Love the tools you picked as well. You never know when you’ll need them. Great idea for those tools. See you soon! Have a great weekend. And Father’s Day!

      Same here. I appreciate you both as well. You are great people. Have been watching Leslie and Dustin on Rv Unplugged? I’m having fun watching them. And rooting for them all the way.

    I just traded my Johnny bar in for a Milwaukee high output impact...for those things like suspension parts or lug nuts.
    Cordless, hacksaw/Sawzall & my soldering gun & soldering..
    Your list is great ....cheers 😊

      Thanks Rob, We have to do a break down of our tools.. although we don't carry many, I think it is surprising to a lot of people that we don't carry a bunch. I'm not a tech or a mechanic (I have stayed at a Holiday Inn) so I make do with what we have. Thanks

    Thanks for the info, getting a multi bit screwdriver for sure. Think about showing us your storage area, how you have tools organized, seems interesting.

    We carry a battery powered Dewalt tire inflator.

      We have a little compressor also, I think it is an off brand (probably from Harbor freight). Really need to look into getting a better tire inflator though. Thanks

    Would be helpful if you included shopping links to the products you show as I’ve found on other UA-camr channels as I’ve purchased some of those products myself, just my thoughts.

      Thank you.. I will add links in future videos. We have received negative feedback about links in the past so we stopped putting them in all the videos. But I appreciate you adding your thoughts and will add links in the future. I will be doing a video about how we organize our storage space soon. That will be a good time to add those. Thanks again.

    Every UA-cam channel you watch these people are selling products on Amazon.

    • @HappyPlaceDiaries
      @HappyPlaceDiaries  2 місяці тому +1

      My personal view on that is that creators are trying to get a little compensation for the work they put into the videos. The money a creator makes from UA-cam is nothing. Amazon seems to have a better pay out at no additional cost to the buyer. I don't think it is an issue especially since Consumers of UA-cam pay nothing to watch free content... and again, there is no cost to the consumer. Thanks for your thoughts.. its an interesting debate.
