There are very few constants in our universe that we are able to see with our naked eye.
Josh Eppard's mouth being open is one of these very constants. Researchers and experts in the field are ecstatic and blessed to be able to observe this phenomenon so closely.

Because by now the guitar is just like another part of his body lol its just effortless for him by now he's so good. Also you play the same riffs over and over and over and over and over they become second nature. He just naturally knows what to play

Love the performance... Love the album... The cameraman needs to calm the fuck down. I wanted to see some of the insane guitar work but the cutting to different shots happened so fast you end up seeing nothing.

Yeah there are a lot of quick-cuts that don't fit right. As a guitarist and also a video editor, I was a little taken aback by the editing in this video. What I would give to have all this footage (of the perfect rock performance, from the perfect rock band) and have my way with it!
Claudio is a fucking beast. Singing while riffing. With all the changes, vocally, constantly and consistently not missing. Bravo Co&Ca....Ive missed this feel since IKSOSE.

Christ they're tight live. I'm used to bands letting me down once they move out of the studio, but this shit is perfect.
I like the live version better than the studio and that almost NEVER happens!

There is literally no show like a Coheed show. The energy is unlike anything else.
Sadly, you cant always trust uploads from official channels. they often do "overdubs" and record studio tracks to supplement the live recording
@thewilbatron True, but that's not such a bad thing. Likely any live album you've listened to has had this treatment. Recording live is such a difficult task, with so many variables, often you'll end up with a few glaring mistakes, or a mic that cut out for a couple seconds, or a vocal line or two that just didn't come through loud enough. So you go back and overdub where needed. I wouldn't say you can't "trust" them - they aren't trying to hide it.
Holy crap. So tight. I'm blown away with how the band continues to grow and truly own the saga they're creating.
They are on par with the Beatles or Pink Floyd IMHO will be remembered as the best of our time along with The Dear Hunter but I'm biased 😜

However, in the bridge section it’s much more varied and fiddly. The fact that Claudio is singing so well whilst he plays that amazes me.
I love the intricate tie-ins to earlier albums in this song and All on Fire, and maybe others I haven't caught yet.
And as Claudio said at the show for Comic Con, "Welcome Home is a recurring theme in our music, but until now, we've never said it. So, welcome home."

I’d say they’re the best sounding live band I’ve ever heard. So tight. No mistakes. Perfect embellishments and improvisations that don’t detract from the sound. Just perfect.

@@TheEverlastingCreeper I overheard Claudio talking about it when they played Boulder a couple years ago... Sounded like they really wanted to and they were working on it.... If they reserved a Wednesday night two years ago, I guess that puts them about a year out on the waiting list.

But seriously, Claudio- fork down the money, and make a DVD of it. The new album is good. The DVD will sell. You do some Welcome Home, some Ten Speed, some Time Consumer and Silent Earth, you add in your Old Flames and Dark Sentencer- Maybe you talk to some people and see if The Prize Fighter Inferno's available to open.
An Evening with Coheed was a hell of a show, and you didn't record that- do that! Do it at Red Rocks! Make a million bucks! Get a bigger guillotine! Everybody wins!

My first concert to see coheed and cambria will be on February 15 in Houston and I'm legit excited, every dollar spent will be worth it!!!!!! 💯
I am so happy that Travis' guitar is turned up here. My only issue with Unheavenly Creatures was that Travis' guitar mostly got drowned out in a lot of the songs. His leads sound Good Apollo quality here.

I’ve seen great live Coheed performances before but Fuck, the sound quality and performance of this was so amazing I thought it was live video set to studio rec with live effects until Travis came in with that mini intro solo and realized this was the real deal live. Soooooo good and soooo solid. This is an amazing song too. Coheed never fails to impress me
Hearing them put bits of the beginning of Dark Sentencer into the intro was a lot more satisfying than I thought it would be.

The crowd erupted when they opened with Dark Sentencer in Denver!!! Hands down best Coheed performance I've witnessed and first time seeing them in an outdoor venue.

I'd heard some recorded Coheed and thought..."yeah, that's okay". But a friend told me, "dude, you have to see them live. It changes you." I saw them last summer for the first time...and saw them last month for my third time in just a few months. My friend was right, it changed me and it changed the music and my appreciation for the records. It boggles my mind how my hearing of their music changed once I saw them live. Don't miss an opportunity! Ever!!!
