I'm aware this post is over a year old, but I watched this just now and I believe at that moment most of the people in that crowd would have followed Claudio into battle without knowing who they were fighting or why. You either love Coheed or you've never really listened to them.
dude, I saw them earlier this year on their Good Apollo tour and they played this during the encore.. The crowd screamed "MAN YOUR OWN JACKHAMMER" so fucking loud I thought the building was gonna collapse, seeing this song/band live legitimately changed my life lol
No it's not bands like this need to stay they way they or or they will sell out....just support them by going to shows and actually buying their stuff.....can u imagine if they played this on radio everyday and lil white girls blasting this in their gold cabriolet? No because I would never want that for CC

You know that a band has a dedicated cult following when you see the audience singing along word for word. They have embraced the narrative, are totally invested in the experience, the band knows this and embraces that fact. When the audience IS THE CHORUS (6:20) it will send chills down your spine.
There's NOTHING like a live Coheed show. nothing like screaming "MAN YOUR OWN JACKHAMMER!" with hundreds/thousands of other fans that feel them the way I do. They're so underrated/underplayed as far as mainstream goes, but i think maybe they like iut that way. Such an amazing and special fan base.
I’m 42 got the angst of a teenager still when I watch this. So hyped when the intro restarts near the end that guy flies in the air the crowd chanting this gives me chills this performance
Claudio’s acid reflux was severely acting up, and kind of gave an interesting vocal quality; this show’s version of Delirium Trigger is my favorite version
The greatest live song ever played. Even after listening to it thousands of times over the past 12 years, I still get goosebumps at the beginning guitar riff
I’m so lucky my stepdad introduced me to this band, they’re my absolute favorite and even though I’m 18 I get nostalgic for when I first heard their music
My daughter's 1st concert was Coheed in 2018 and she still talks about it . She has been one among the fence since the womb in 2004. She is 16 now and is dying to see them again! I love Coheed so much. Bad day? Coheed Good day Coheed every day Coheed! 🥰😍
Saw them for the first time last night only having known a few songs. I liked what I heard, but they made me a huge fan last night. Especially because of this song, so many chills throughout and the singalongs were unreal.
They have always been such a force. I hope I can find the time to see them again. When they hit these classics it's truly like nothing i've ever seen before.
The song and live performance that made me realize that these guys are incredible. I wrote these dudes off just on their name, then a bro played this song and I realized I was a fool. Then I watched this live video and saw that these intricate riffs were being played while singing incredibly intricate vocals and I was hooked. It wasn't much later that I realized that this may be the most complete band I have ever heard. Perhaps the best band in history and I've heard it all.
