I was so happy for Dexter in the scene where he was looking at thw moon and thinking of Rita. For but a moment I genuinely thought that Dexter had found his happiness without the need to kill, within his love for Rita......but when he discovered her body it was honestly so heartbreaking. It was like thw whole world stood still for him
@Graycent7326 But he knew that he was trying to kill him and that could have made him realise that dexter had no problem in taking one's life unlike normal people
@@Pharanos177no he didn't know that,he legit only got to know dexter was a killer when he was wrapped in plastic.trinity never knew dex was trying to kill him until he was on the table.
@@Graycent7326 But judging from trinity's actions throughout different episodes it would very well be possible that when at the parking area Dexter made him unconscious, it was obvious to him that it is him because it was just after the confrontation with Dexter in his office
This scene was truly hard for me to watch but i thought dexter would learn from his mistakes and get some character development instead they brought another woman the very next season for dexter to hook up to. I wouldve understood dexter having sex with other woman after rita but he formed a kind of meaningful relationship with the next woman which just shit on the bond that dexter and rita had which made it look nothing more than just a bond that can be made again which the writers proved by introducing yet another woman 'Hannah Mckay'.And what truly set me off was that in one of the episodes of s7 dexters says hannah accepts him as a whole and not like rita who was blind to dexter's darkness. Like wtf?!. I was and still am disappointed.
He's a psychopath what else do you want, i mean that's who he is, imo he always seek for someone who could understand him and someone he could live with without lying anymore, although is pretty shit that in ss8 he abandon his son, Hannah and after ss5 Rita is rarely mentioned anymore, but it's still nice that her image still pops up in Dexter's flashbacks before he died
@@dau1602 yea I expected no less from a psychopath but he showed some improvement in his emotional intelligence and i had a little hope that he can feel something that's long lasting...but It was good to see rita again in the flashback
@@dau1602He is shown to not be a psychopath many times in the show, it's kinda obvious that if Harry didn't instill the whole "you will never be capable of love and are destined to be a violent murderer completely isolate yourself in your childhood and make no friends and have no practice being a person" thing then he probably would have turned out normal enough to not murder people
that scene broke me
@@scottd426 fr bro… Rita was perfect
@@Womzyfilmsshe was annoying asf since 0,5 s up to 3,5 season but after she was good

The moment dexter accidentally repeated history, another innocent mother butchered in front of her child.
Imagine if Trinity told rita about Dexter's truth before killing her
He never knew dexters truth himself, all he knew dexter was exploiting him for money
