Doakes was a very intelligent character in my opinion, he impressed me with how he suspected Dexter Morgan of having a link or connection to the Bay Harbour Butcher it's truly a shame the way he got slaughtered by Lila left in the cabin and literally explode was not the way I feel in my opinion Doakes deserved to go. I honestly got sad seeing him die and felt empathy for LaGuerta as everyone thinks Doakes is guilty. So I'm conflicted. While I like dexter, his actions are having an effect on innocent characters that didn't deserve the gruesome demise that they got.
