you're confused about a TFT display, the reason folks want it isn't just for being able to access engine data much like a OBD3 connected to a laptop or engine analysis tool, you want to be able to access your GPS, that's the gem of a TFT, cuz you can drag and follow freeways whatever .. but also you want a TFT display to access engine management, you go in and say OK I changed the oil, I put 3lbs pressure in the rear, I adjusted the chain, I lubed it, then it runs engine management, lets you know every thing from emissions to ignition to crank angle cam angle everything, graph it whatever.. then it tells you in 2548 miles its time for your 12000 mile checkup, its a tool not a cliche or buzz word...
It is a lovely motorbike, I’ve always loved the gsxr range, I live in the uk and the bike laws are so strict over here but my first bike was the GSXS-125 and it was a lovely bike to ride even for a naked 125cc bike and defo what started my love for the GSXRs

I know you’ve probably been riding for at least decades more than I have, but you might adjust your position when stopped behind vehicles from center to side. I see you are pretty far back but you have a quicker and easier out if you happen to notice a moron behind you is more into their phone than your safety, which is often the case. I got rear ended in a Suburban and suffered brain injury and spine injuries. I’m living with permanent brain damage, not fun. When I’m on my bike I am aimed at the escape route no matter what. Just trying to help, I appreciate the review and like that you relate things about the bikes to other bikes. It gives a bit of perspective that some can relate to.

@@RayBowdenRides Brother, I was terrified to get back on a bike after abstaining for about 30 years in an effort to preserve my health so I could run my companies, which someone else ruined for me. After 3 years I finally realized my health was gone, my businesses were gone, I was super depressed and needed to find a way to handle being outside by some other means than my own power and not get overheated quickly. A motorcycle seemed to be the answer but I was scared. I watched Dandanthefireman motorcycle crash analysis videos here on UA-cam for a few weeks and decided I could use what is left of my brain to maybe survive on the street on a bike. It is great for my depression, makes me live today, now, not living in the past with what went wrong and what is lost, and not worrying about the future. I have learned a lot since making that decision and still learn all the time. We have to care about one another, teach, remind, learn and do everything we can to reduce those insurance claim stats for old guys on bikes so we can afford to keep riding. We can leave the getting rear-ended at a traffic light to the young guys who can recover quicker 🤣😂😅
@evlutionzllc5519 man that is so awesome of a story about you!! I'm so glad to have the honor of speaking to someone of your caliber being that you have went through so much and still going, could I share your story sometime on my channel? I think more people need to hear it.
Thanks for subscribing! Plano kawasaki has a used m1000r with 700 miles on it and a full SC project pipe on it - right now for 27k , I believe it's flashed also , if you wanna buy one!
I am very curious to know how this compares to the 2024 ZX10R. To me it seems Suzuki has really taken a long time to do anything new with the GSXR. Just giving it a new LCD is a good but very late move. It's long been seen as the gangsters bike indeed. A hard sell for me, as it means higher insurance and it's really only a little bit cheaper than a S1000RR.
Serious question isn't the 2024 GSX-S1000GT+ A mode feel like a GSXR-1000R? Same engine with 30less HP and more comfort/added bags, I want to know if it can still pull tho and also if TC can be set to 0 on the GT if wanted to be a hooligan in the parking lots. You've now rode both so I figured I'd ask. :D
I think it looks great in the front end. A really nice departure from the old model. I also like it doesn't have stupid f%$ wings. I also don't give a crap about TFT and Traction Control. Strip that off a we would be back to real motorcycles that require the rider to RIDE the bike. $10K cheaper than the triple R...With 10K you could make it smash everything if that's your goal.
@@RayBowdenRides Isn't it too old of technology for such a nice and otherwise modern bike? Such a shame, but beautiful bike aside from the display. Good review though 👍
I just wish Suzuki would do a bit of an update on the 600/750 platform and add an actual fuel gauge, update to LED lights all the way around and a simple ABS option. I, personally am very intrigued with the mid range of the 750 in a 600 weight bike and do not like the new gen liter bike dash boards. I love big tachs and the new look TFT's suck!
I ride a 2007 GSXR and never looked back. About to get a 2024 and now I see this clutch less gear shifting? What the hell is that? Can you DISABLE IT? If you cannot disable I will not buy.

I recently added the 2023 GSXR-1000R to my channel, and the answer is YES! You can turn off the quickshifter. You can also turn off the traction control 👍🏻
the triple R has active suspension so no the 1kR is not going to do everything the RRR can do . . . not everything.. the honda is going to get its arse waxed by a gsxr1kR on the street but it wont have the race track manners active suspension has like on the RRR

@user-tv7bz6by7n I've seen your comments on the channel before, don't mean to offend you if I did!
Bike looks amazing, just wish they didn't put "Suzuki" everywhere possible lol but that's no biggie.
Thanks for Watching and Commenting Lou🙏🏻, Thanks for being apart of the Channel!!
that tire is not fat man! most literbikes come stock with a 200/60 now.
Yep your right! Thanks for being apart of the Channel and Commenting 🙏🏻. Stay in Touch and have a great rest of your week!
No your Totally RIGHT, I'm usually pretty good about it, but when I'm talking in to the camera I'm distracted for sure!! I Apreciate you caring!! Thank you my friend 🙏🏻. And thank you for Watching and Commenting to. Never hurts to get re focused on what's important. Hopefully we talk again soon ! Thank you for Carring. Really!!!

Denton Cycle Center!!
Thanks for subscribing! Plano kawasaki has a used m1000r with 700 miles on it and a full SC project pipe on it - right now for 27k , I believe it's flashed also , if you wanna buy one!
Nice bike
Yep!thanks for being apart of the Channel 🙏🏻
Good old Plano!
Heck yes!! Thanks for making my day! Have a AWESOME holiday Weekend my friend!
They both have about same HP, But the Kawasaki has the tech! Thanks for Watching and Commenting!
Nice video
Thanks George, have a AWESOME rest of your weekend!
Yes 👍, Thanks for Watching and Commenting 🙏🏻.
Yep so true! Thanks for Commenting my friend 🙏🏻. Please Stay in Touch!!
Had a GSXR1100 years back.
Oh cool, Thanks for Watching and Commenting 🙏🏻.
Subbed. @@RayBowdenRides

I can't even imagine this bike with mods 🤯......I think keeping it stock is more than plenty of power 😅
It so AWESOME just like it is!! Thanks for Watching and Commenting 🙏🏻 my friend. Ride SAFE and don't be a Stranger!!
I thought the first sport bike was the Honda Hurricane...?
Well that's debated? Thanks for Watching and Commenting 🙏🏻 my friend!!
is this color only in Texas??? I want it!!
It's all of USA I believe- Thanks for Commenting and being apart of the Channel V!
Look at that ancient display, what is wrong with Suzuki? Jeez.
I would imagine they will update it for 2025,Thanks for Watching and Commenting 🙏🏻, Stay in Touch!
@@RayBowdenRides Isn't it too old of technology for such a nice and otherwise modern bike? Such a shame, but beautiful bike aside from the display.
Good review though 👍
@MM-qv5lf thanks for Watching and being apart of the Channel!!
It’s half the price of a Honda
@salahali2710 yep!!
Coming from an LCD display, I couldn't give 2 shits if it was tft or not. Y'all spoiled.
Yep , Thanks for Watching and Commenting 🙏🏻.
Yep, Thanks for Commenting and Watching Ryan 🙏🏻. Have a great weekend!!! And don't be a Stranger my friend!!!
The design hasn't changed much with the gsxr since the the k5 model. Great bikes with bad reputations of squid riders.
Yep, Exactly!! Thanks for Watching and Commenting my friend 🙏🏻, Thanks for being apart of the Channel!! Ride SAFE
Good race moto motor
Thanks for Watching and Commenting John 🙏🏻.
Q: I am your age... one question, 1000 or 750?
1000, Thanks for Watching and Commenting my friend 🙏🏻
1000 cc nha
Only gsxr 1000 i liked was the 2009 mainly because of the design 😅
Thks for Watching and Commenting my friend 🙏🏻. Don't be a Stranger!!
2006
I ride a 2007 GSXR and never looked back. About to get a 2024 and now I see this clutch less gear shifting? What the hell is that? Can you DISABLE IT? If you cannot disable I will not buy.
Most of the time you can yes!! Let me know what you end up doing!! Thanks for Watching and Commenting Freedom 🙏🏻.
its a quickshifter, its actually really helpful but ig you can disable it tho
@@RayBowdenRides Thanks for the info! I have a 2005 GSXR750 and decided to get a 2025 GSXR1000 so I’ll be waiting a year…. Gotta have the 2005 and 2025. 🤣. I wrote 2007 because that was my knee dragging year and memory slowly fading 🤣 Thanks again
@FreedomAintFree1 I know the feeling - stay in Touch Freedom!!!
I recently added the 2023 GSXR-1000R to my channel, and the answer is YES! You can turn off the quickshifter. You can also turn off the traction control 👍🏻
Honda CBR 1000 RR is cheaper and has way better screen. Sad they haven't updated it.

Year is obsolete on gsxr 1000's unless it's a 05 which gets better acceleration my 03 runs side by side with anything except a 05.
Hmm , good to know! Thanks for Watching and Commenting my friend 🙏🏻. Ride SAFE and hope we talk again Soon!!
Miss my Copper and Black 03 1k.

05 makes 80+ less hp and 1/5th of the tech, what are you on about fr
@sadboy-rp3dn thanks for Watching and Commenting 🙏🏻
the triple R has active suspension so no the 1kR is not going to do everything the RRR can do . . . not everything.. the honda is going to get its arse waxed by a gsxr1kR on the street but it wont have the race track manners active suspension has like on the RRR
Thanks for Commenting 🙏🏻.
