I think the biggest issue with some of the remixes is her English is too good we can understand the lyrics which is rlly odd 😭

I like that I can hear and understand the words tbh, but as a lyricist myself might be why. The tracks/vocals are also just way clearer and higher quality as well.
it’s the nostalgia that interferes with the reload versions 😭
They released the full track list and it’s 60 “new” tracks of the music. All of it is being redone some with minor changes like “living with determination” and “strange feeling”, and others get the reload treatment like “changing seasons” and “want to be close” from the Fuuka trailer and then there’s completely new tracks ie color your night. For me Moons reaching stars was my favorite and I like this new one, I’ve detached nostalgia and love for the og because Azumi isn’t Yumi and her voice can never be topped but Azumi has her own voice and these songs are not bad whatsoever they may not be the originals but their still good quality music. It’s sad Yumi couldn’t come back due to her age and smoking habits but I’ve been really happy with this music and I’m so excited for this game!!!
I mean I’ve detached nostalgia, I just don’t think moon reaching out to stars sounds good at ALL, but I do think it can grow on me
@@KingJJ2345LIVE Music is a subjective media so that’s all cool, if you want to see the track list it should be findable on posts on big persona social media accounts. Most of the other reload versions I’ve heard I’ve really liked. Mass destruction is ok for me, I love the P3D version so much but I don’t dislike the new one, the only issue I have is the frog noise which was in the original too but it was just extremely low and in the background. Alternatively changing seasons, afternoon break, want to be close, deep breath, and master of shadows/Tartarus all of which are reload versions sound really cool and fun to me overall I’m so happy! I hope you enjoy the game when it comes out!

"It's Going Down" is seriously top tier. It has that high quality Anime OP vibe. I like the new tracks and the new versions of the songs tbh. 🙏🔥

I don't think it's her fault for sounding bad on the older tracks besides changing seasons cause she's gas on it. The old songs are just not her style hopefully there's a way you can choose which individual song plays.

i agree, now that i have the game and can listen to the full version, its not as bad as when i first heard it, still not one of my favs though
It's the best when things get heated and that second verse hits.
It's growing on people but holy hell it hit a home run in the Monad Doors when the battles were taking longer than the first verse.

I don't hate the Reload version of Moon's Reaching Stars, the remix in the dancing game it sounds so similar as the original, maybe you don't like it because the voice is so different from the original, if you start hearing it many times maybe you will end liking it and I like the Reload version of Mass Descruction, it has the same lyrics including new lyrics, you can find here in UA-cam the complete version of the song and see the lyrics.
The original moons reaching stars was my favorite song in the original, I do like the new Moons reaching stars tho. It’s a different vibe and take to my favorite song and I really enjoyed it, it has its own flair and isn’t exactly trying to sound like the original.
I don’t doubt it’ll grow on me, but off of first listens it just does not sound good to me at all as a song
Man i first listened to mass destruction reload and something felt odd, then i compared and the OG mass destruction was way more louder in my headphones, so i got to my TV and played the new mass destruction at a higher volume, and i absolutely love it now, i will protect Mass destruction reload FOREVER

I feel like a lot of these have the same effect of listening to a cover of your favorite song, it just feels a little bit off. I for sure think I'll get used to them though, and the originals are straight fire, Color Your Night easily best Persona song of all time

I think the problem with some of her songs is that Azumi too proper. Yumi’s voice had a little grit in there that added some flavor to the song, but Azumi’s voice is so smooth that it feels off.
Could be, this may be a hot take but vocally, I think Azumi sounds better, but Yumi’s grit like you said gave her voice some charm, but it’s cool, I’ll see if these new remixes grow on me, Azumi’s originals have not missed in the slightest
You need to just get used to the new vocals, all in hear is a new style. She did great in Mass Destruction -Reload-! She’s okay in When Moon’s Reaching Out Stars -Reload-, I need to listen to it more to get used to it, but none of these are bad, I’m personally really warming up to the new vocalist.
