Just broken when everyone's running to meet Makoto on the roof. Even Koromaru where he isn't allowed just to get there in time for Makoto to pass peacefully knowing his friends were coming..
Persona 3 tore me apart, I didn’t know I could feel a certain way after seeing someone like Makoto pass… between 3-5, Makoto is uncontested the one who been through the most.
This is why persona 3 is my favorite persona game it’s just the story,it’s gameplay,the cast,how they deal with death and life,the message the game is telling us.its such an amazing game.another reason why I love this game(it’s kind of a personal reason but) I love aigis in this game I feel like she had the biggest character development in this,at first you see her as a robot and at the end you see her a robot who is slowing being human developing a soul and feeling emotions,both of her voice actresses nailed their roles(also fun fact but I think you already know this kingj her original voice actress Karen strassman also played Nanako in persona 4)
Facts, her being able to shed tears is amazing, also I did know that but it’s still insane the range that Karen Strassman had

Bro I fucking cried when I first beat it. I stayed away from all ost before I played the game, yeah I played all of Persona 3, even p3P and FES, but seeing it remake and experiencing it for the first time again made my heart cry
They explain in P4 and Arena that Elizabeth left the velvet room to find a means of reviving MC without releasing Nyx. I really really really hope Atlus actually goes somewhere with that plot point and don’t just leave it in the air forever.

@@KingJJ2345LIVE I mean.........this is from The Answer which was a post game story where it goes more into detail about what happened and what the great seal is..........but the main take away is that as long as the desire for the end is in the collective human consciousness, the fall will happen if Makoto isn't filling the role of the Seal

Yeah dude. This ending made me depressed for about a week. It’s wishful thinking, and a part of me thinks ATLUS won’t explore this route, but I would really like a happy ending for Makoto. He deserves it.
That we can fly up into the sky, one day, we may just be able to touch down on a star...

But i do think that they will "free his soul" but this isnt me saying that he will be brought back to life as his corpse is basically dead and rotting. However, Lizzy wants to free Makoto's soul as a seal for Nyx without endangering the humanity in a way.
Keep in mind that freeing does not mean bringing someone back to life. Its more of a term to let them rest, peacefully.

When you first start the game, the main menu background is filled with all the s.e.e.s. members, then once you finish the game it becomes empty with only the s.e.e.s. arm band laid on top of the desk. The details, man
I love this game so much. I’m so glad Reload came out because I probably would’ve never beaten the game entirely if it didn’t. It’s been fun playing the game along side you and I cannot wait to see you do challenge runs of this game.

This even feels more tragic in Persona 3 Portable because your romance options runs to you right away.
This is what I love about Persona 3. You know the game is good when it can make grown men cry.
I hated this ending. Was it bad in terms of writing? No. But these kinds of endings get me sad and depressed for a week or two. I hope one day Makoto is freed from this fate by Elizabeth. He deserves a happy ending like everyone else.

honestly i wish they had kept it ambigous of what happened to the player........rather then the answer saying "oh he slipped into a coma and DIED the next day"
It's never been ambiguous. It's subtle, but there are hints he's dying, and even before March, the game foreshadows it subtly a couple times, even in the original.
This is the first game in years to make me cry. This was my first time experiencing the ending and it made me sob. This shit gets so heavy and it’s painful to watch at certain points

@@KingJJ2345LIVE I think the Persona game that gets me to tear up the most is Persona 4 Golden. Royal is an ok experience but 4 Golden is a good intro to the franchise. If that makes sense

The first part of the story is done, theres still the resurrection. If theyre really mimicking what happened to the actual messiah, then we can be sure that makoto's story is not yet finished

P4 is such a mid game with a crazy following. (Not even to be rude) I love Noato and p4 but it doesn't compare to 3.
