    Hi everyone!
    I am in the THICK of the last minute Christmas madness (typing this outside a sporting goods store where I hope to find an elusive pair of Nikes for a beloved nephew 🤞🤞🤞)
    I will do my best to answer as many comments as I can, but it’ll be tomorrow 😅😅
    I hope you all have a wonderful Saturday ❤❤

    Wow, what a great video. I felt I have a pretty good handle on my routine, but you showed me where I can tweak it.
    I think this will be so helpful for people who buy stuff on BF sales, but by the time they get it, they have forgotten why they bought it or the people who just get overwhelmed by products.
    Fantastic job, Penn!

    Much like this video, the SkinFix is absolutely awesome. Your multi-option routine is brilliant and to ME, personally, essential. Skin fluctuates, so having options within each category to pull from just makes sense for so many reasons. This video was clearly put together to help as many people as possible. Indgividual concerns ✅ A WIDE variety of budgets ✅

    It does make sense! I alternate skin products all the time because I have so many and want to use them all. Change keeps me curious and keeps me consistent. Also eliminates the guilt when I try something new.

    I’m obsessed with my Ziip! I never saw results with the NuFace. That in conjunction with Photozyme’s DNA Youth Recovery gave me such incredible results I actually cancelled an appointment I had for a lower face lift. I just ordered their iQuad Total Eye Therapy…can’t wait!

    I almost didn't watch this video as I have been influenced in the past to buy more skincare than I could possibly use in 5 years & didn't need more. However I'm so glad I did because Penn you have really boiled it down for me in knowing what to use. I've been doing way more steps than I need just trying to use everything up I have but looking at it as categories and choosing different products each night based on my skin needs really helps. I'm heading over to your blog to check the info out, so thank you!

    You have taught me through the years how to hone a skin care routine to perfection! and so this video was just to reiterate for me what I have learned from you through the years. And I'm so grateful for that knowledge. I also really appreciate being reminded of so many good products. As you know, I have a bottle of the P 50, but I haven't been able to use it because I am currently traversing the worst skin issue I've ever had. I don't know if it's simply a compromised barrier or if I've actually got dermatitis, but just about anything I put on my skin that is not completely mild burns like acid. I've never had this happen before, but it's been a very dry winter here in Southern California and I've had some stressors, it does seem to be better today, so I've got my fingers crossed that it will go away.

    • @PENNSMITHSKINCARE
      @PENNSMITHSKINCARE  Місяць тому +1

      Hmmm. It definitely sounds like a skin barrier issue 😔
      Ugh I’m so sorry!!
      Have you tried Cicaplast? Avene makes it- and it may help.
      It’s tricky when everything burns- there is something going on for sure.
      I’d skip your red light for a bit too….i remember that you had a reaction before and I know it’s better with the CB mask but just in case maybe skip it (you may already be doing that).
      Fulvic minerals *may* help too. Worth investigating 💙
      Merry Christmas my friend, I wish I was there to help!!

    Thank you for another great video! I’m 61 and need to be doing all these steps but live in Hawaii. I would love to see a video on skin care for hot humid conditions because I can’t even do more than one than serum and a thin layer of moisturizer before my skin feels like a mess in this humid condition

  • @dazzfire
    @dazzfire Місяць тому +1

    A lot of the Vitamin C products are liquid serums, which break the thinnest-to-thickest rule if using some of those creamy Repair products (like Photozyme Youth Recovery, Calecim MAC, and Exocueticals Anti-Aging cream) beforehand. Same with some of the Hydrate options. I'm not sure if this is a problem, but I'd think it'd reduce some penetration capacity of anything following these someone thicker Repair products.

    Great video I watched all your am pm routine videos ( and bought everything you recommended 😀) I got the fade bright skin inhibitor and I know in previous videos you recommend to use it a.m. and p.m. (it goes fast and a bitt pricey) in which category would you put it ? in previous videos you said using it after cleanse and toner if I’m not mistaken so if we follow this list of routine, which category would it be is it repair ?and if I use vitamin C can I skip fade bright that day? In short, how often do I need to use it for best results with battling pigmentation damage? Thank you and Happy holidays❤

    • @PENNSMITHSKINCARE
      @PENNSMITHSKINCARE  Місяць тому +2

      Ok so fade bright goes right after repair (I switched that up….you COULD do it right before repair too but I think right after is better).
      Yes!! Vitamin C is an excellent pigment inhibitor so you could do FB only at night (right after repair) and vitamin C in the morning 💙

    Always so excited to see your routines😀 This is such a great way of doing it with the categories and options. I get so overwhelmed. At 58 I want to use everything and I know it doesn’t help if I’m using too many. Really excited that I started the Photozyme Vit C and E. I’ve enjoyed DNA repair serum for years since you introduced me to it. I’ve been using Lightsaver again - great base for makeup. I feel ok using it in the winter months because it’s only SPF 33. Love your advice❤❤❤❤ Happy Holidays!

    Beautiful hair color, I wish I had that color, so flattering and luxe! Thank you for the video...I think I had too much skincare which I've generally been pretty savvy about over the decades, but got to a point where it was overwhelming and I pared down to basics recently, leading me to stop using a lot of what I had. But this is motivating me to reach for the high-yield tried and true stuff again that we know are essential for great skin. Thanks and happy holidays!!

      The BR P50 1970 is phenomenal. To me, it is the OTC gold standard of all skincare, much like tretinoin is the Rx gold standard. It's far from cheap, but, personally, I feel the results it delivers make it worth every single dollar. Results are what we all want and this is one that delivers. Not sure about sales...I do know that I've never spotted one.

    Love this! I’ve seen people layering 10 different serums and logically, it never made sense to me. I do layer 3 in my AM (recovery growth factors when healing from a breakout or broken barrier, then Skinceuticals vitamin C and azelaic acid). Anything more I agree are diminishing returns! That said I’m super eager to add in the DNA repair enzymes so I don’t know how/where to add it! Any suggestions?

      Penny said in a recent video that she uses the DNA repair enzymes right after the toner and before other serums. I do the same, and it works great even though I use thinner serums after.

    Hey Penn, you’ve said in the past (& I believe I’ve read it on their website), that the photozyme dna repair only worked when activated by light, so is it doing anything putting it on before bed?
    Also, I never hear you talk about many of the skincare lines that are sold in med spas (zo oboji, skin medica etc). Do you feel the things you educate us on are better than those or what are your thoughts? I’ve spent a ton of money over the yrs on your recs & a ton at med spas. Are they just as good or more potent than your recs since they are from a medspa?
    You’re my skin GURU!!!!! I LOVE learning from your wealth of knowledge, THANK YOU FOR ALL YOUR PHENOMENAL INFORMATION!!!!! 💖💖💖

      Hi! Ok so there is a DNA repair enzyme in Photozyme that is activated by light (Red light devices, sunlight etc) but those products also contain 1-2 other DNA repair enzymes that do not need light. So no matter what, they’re going to work (they just work slightly differently and at a different pace) 💙💙
      Also, I LOVE some med spa lines. When I was in clinic Obagi was the line I used on clients for facials and as home care. I love it to this day.
      I feel like each line has a few stand out products and then some over priced duds. Same for less expensive products….its a matter of finding the gems from any line, at any price point (in my opinion) 💙💙💙

    How do you incorporate the micro needling with the PM routine? What do you use then?

    Which LED mask do you think is better… Dr Rajani or Maysama?
