This is brilliant experimental music... Jonathan is truly genius
Shankar using a double violin. Wicked.
No synthesisers, all organic, and pure genius.
He played the Rudra Veena, and a damru.
Shenkar played with Peter Gabriel, JD probably considers himself very lucky to have him in his band because he is a huge Peter Gabriel fan.
This man really knows how to get to the core of my musical interest. I have been a fan since 94 when korn dropped their first album. His lyrics almost always has something i can relate to. I will always be influenced by jd. I will always love the music him and korn make. This is awesome. I know about his tragedy and yet i still cannot wait for korns new album next summer. That will probably be epic
To be honest im not a fan of Korn at all and I think this album is better than anything Korn has ever done

he actually did this song years ago, or a version very similar that he revamped. (it's called "alone i play" YT, it was a live performance he did with these musicians for a small crowd wearing a full suit and i believe that's where I heard this the first time.) I'm glad he decided to add it officially to something. it's so good. QotD is one of my top 3 soundtracks.

Sound actually isn't that new, these songs were written about 10 years ago and been brought to light more now. During the Queen of the Damned era, where this spawned from, thus why its so familiar and amazing.
SYNTH3T1K86 queen of damned was made around 2001, this was more like 2010
E- Bone These songs were written in 2007. The idea for solo work and it's continuation was in 2002. JD talked about it all the time. He works with SFA for this and back then. Davis even said it took 11 years to get this done. He's been talking solo stuff forever, but Korn took priority.
