hey brother, you’re a legend for making this video. Im planning to get one myself and I was wondering if you could set the monitors in a way you have your primary monitor in the middle and the secondary on the side? if you know what i’m talking about
@@aaricthewong5845 Hey Aaric, thanks for the view and comment! Appreciate you stopping by. So what I do is I have one monitor setup directly infront of me and my secondary monitor on the right. The only issue is the arm behind the screen only allows for a little angle. So it's while I wish my monitors would form a 140 degree angle, it's more like a 125 degree angle. It's not bad but not perfect. The ideal scenario would be two separate arms to perfectly adjust, but I'm finding the handle to move both monitors up and down when i go from sit to stand an awesome feature. It's why I went with this monitor arm vs the other ones. Let me know if you want me to do a 1 month review of the ergotron hx dual monitor stand! Happy to do that
@@kingsleychan legend again thank you so much, i think the one review people with dual monitors will definitely want to see is how the ergotron HX dual performs if people want different screen layouts and some of the downsides when trying to do so!!
@@kingsleychan i also agree with what you said in the last part about moving both monitors, I also love the idea both monitors are being held up by a single arm. So im currently stuck between this and the Secretlab dual monitor arm. The thing stopping me from buying the ergotron currently is the lack of video representation in youtube on the setup i’d like XD
@@aaricthewong5845 Hmm looking at the Secretlab dual monitor arm, it's two individual arms though. But yeah I think for my use the Ergotron is better, when I go from sitting to standing I dont want to adjust two monitors. For the Ergotron i can do it in one swift movement, it even has the handle. I think the Olin dual monitor arm has the handle thing as well, but that arm is soo expensive. I mean the Ergotron isnt cheap either. I personally would go with the ergotron vs the secret labs just given two monitors on one capability. It's a cleaner set up too imo, one arm vs two. Let me know if you want me to do a follow up vid review to show how I use my arms and stuff!
@@kingsleychan that’s fair enough brother, i think a follow up video wound be great to demonstrate how the ergotron looks with the screen layout in looking for, in my case my primary monitor in front and the secondary on the LEFT side of the primary monitor, if it’s as good as i imagine it then i’ll be copping the ergotron
