The exclusivity in VR games should not exist, it will do more harm than good I think. All the games should be across all platforms if the devs can make it happen.
Exclusives sell hardware, it's always been the case. Nintendo does it, PlayStation does it, and now Meta are doing it to sell the Quest 3. When people say "there should be no exclusives in VR", I just look at Nintendo with their many, many exclusives and realise you have no idea what you're talking about.
I know how the market works, but you should never compare the flat gaming market with the VR one. A lot more difficult to get someone to buy or demo VR. That's why I said it should be open until it's more accepted as a medium or a gaming solution. I own all main headsets, PC, Meta and PSVR2.
If your argument is that you should never compare the VR market to the flat panel market, then you don't understand the market. There's lots of useful comparisons that can be drawn.
Im really hyped for Zero Caliber 2. I loved the first one. It was janky sure and theres plenty better made VR games out there but it was just fun to play through and the guns felt nice and the combat was fun. I love going back to it.
B&S is a must have right now after the 1.0 update. It feels good, has a campaign mode to ease into it for new players, and is just genuinely fun. Every VR player who enjoys any sword-fighting and magic/sorcery combat gameplay should have it in their library

Infancy? You do recall this current run of VR we are on started in 2012 and it has ended in mobile phone / Wii motion games rather than quality Virtual Reality content. The big AAA developers dumped VR after PSVR1 as there wasn't enough sales on a platform that had 10 million headsets vs the PSVR2's 1 million. Sadly I think VR probably has to go away for a while and come back in another 10+ years. The content has become stilted and unappealing.

I played the open beta for zero car caliber two I will say what they’ve done is extremely impressive and what they can achieve on a quest two is quite impressive. I mean I came into zero caliber to a little skeptical on what how the game would be, but I’m very impressed genuinely.

Might I recommend the Asgards Wrath games. They are excellent vr titles with great stories and lore. The art style works great with the quests graphical limitations.

honestly pretty much everything here looks disappointing to me. aotherthan maaaybe the batman game, but i duno is that even in engine footage or is it pre rendered, need to se more. blade and sorcery officially releasing was incredible. but the game was already great like 6 years ago :P now its a proper game but we knew it would be great already. but like....how have we not had anything like half life alyx since it was released.... call of the mountain at least looks fantastic. but like. an actually well rounded, full game that looks amazing and actually utilizes VR to the 'fullest' in like 10 years of VR its just constant little experiences that seem to miss the mark in one way or another.

GT I need your help man. Please read the whole comment. People need to know that games like Cyberpunk and most of the Far Cry games as well as more than 20 AAA games are available in vr for anyone who is able to play any of these games on a medium or even lower end pc can still enjoy them in vr. If you use the Luke Ross mod and set rendering to mono you loose the 3d aspect, but you can run the games on ultra and maximize the resolution. The games run stunningly. This has been a game changer for me.
Love vr gaming bruh.. My only complaint is that developers really need to start realizing that we need more options in the comfort and controls area. I play mostly seated unless its golf....that should definitely be a option to stand or sit I don't like being forced to look down at my hips or waist just to grab a weapon or reload. Give us the option to reach over our shoulder at least. Wearing a headset for hours should be comfortable, not forced.. I have 253 games on my Quest, but i haven't even played a lot of them because they just are uncomfortable in some way or another. Im just spitting some frustrations ..... It just released earlier this month, it's quite fun imo Even if it is admittedly janky and has poopy ai but IDK how you'd make good hand to hand combat ai so I'm not gonna complain. I got my money's worth from it.
Good list, but Blade & Sorcery is still bad and people should save their money. Most overhyped game till date and I'm going to keep saying it, because it's games like that that ruin VR.. it's all hyped up, then new people come to VR and try it, have fun for half an hour, then realise how clunky and bad the gameplay and mechanics are, how absouletely poorly coded the NPCs are... you literally can't get a proper fight in that game, the NPCs just push forward and there is no real collision or impact feel to your attacks. Overhyped as hell.

He uses BoboVR S3 Pro mostly I think. I have one and it's awesome. A comfy halo strap (similar to PSVR) with a Massive hot swappable battery. Highly recommended.

It's annoying that the likes of UBI Soft announced they'll not be doing any more VR games due to 'poor' sales. I thought it was outstanding, but another major studio (love 'em or hate 'em) taken off the radar 😢
Zombie army was an instant buy for me, until they announced it's only 2 player coop. What a massively stupid decision. Ive wanted this game in VR since the first rift, and now that it's coming, it's been ruined before it ever came out.

I don't have a problem with an aliens game to be played in short bursts. lots of polls suggest thats how gamers are currently consuming VR anyway.

still looking extremely forward to metro VR game. Loved the flat screen metro games.

Batman cutscenes look awesome. Cant wait for Alien, Metro, Wanderer, Behemoth, Zombie Army & my most anticipated game, Low-Fi, but also i cant waut for Capcom to announce Resident Evil 9 in VR cuz i got Playstation not Quest but hey to each thier own.
