Megalodon slams mid-high difficulty
Negative diff, it’s literally megalodon prey
@@sharksarecooIyea it ate sperm whale faces

Magala-done, you finish shark boy. Lampoon is gonna head but you into a coma
Do megaladon vs Swiss tyrant
Bull Shonisaurus Popularis vs otodus chubutensis would be amazing
I don't think the megalodon will exceed 130 tons, it would literally be very slow and would not be able to reach prey.
But what I assure is that your video is well analyzed and Fax + W
Megalodon was mesothermical, it could swim for miles and wast fast shark, the metabolism of meg was close to the whales(2.0384 SE)
Bro the Jjk reference 😭😭😭
i dont know how accurate the size measurements for the meg are sure it got a length buff but it now less robust than what it used to be and i doubt whether it could attain a mass of 164 tonnes i would probably say some where around 90 to 100 tonnes max
also man can you do a video on undescribed giant macropredatory icthyosaurs
you know the hector's icthyosaur ,welsh giant etc

4:21 Are the tons in US or metric ?
I would of personally do these sizes (imo)
Average Megalodon 15 meters 50 tons males are smaller.
Average sperm whale 18 meters 40 tons female are smaller
Largest reliable specimen Megalodon (IRSNB P 9893) 16 meters 67 tons cooper 2022
Largest reliable sperm whale 20 meters 80 tons (from a Soviet whaling fleet near the Kuril Islands in 1950)
Largest known Megalodon (MNHM CP 62) 21.7-22.2 meters 138 tons
Largest known sperm whale 24 meters estimated 105 tons (IWC whaling records from the South Pacific in 1933)
Yes shark cartilage is stronger than your own but it’s still cartilage at the end of the day and is the reason why a shark size comparable to a dolphin is still considered more flexible bone is what you get if you max out defense in endoskeleton. Human cartilage is like wood, shark cartilage is like titanium and bone is like steel. (Weirdly enough bone is also stronger than steel.) Sperm whales also have a rib cage that helps it against from impact tram so their organs are less likely to rupture unlike sharks. So ramming would be quite effective even ships that had rams attached had trouble sinking ships while a sperm whale was able to make a massive hole in a ship much larger than it so it can easily rupture organs like the larger liver of sharks so a sperm whale can kill a large megalodon though it would be quite unlikely. I also can’t find anything on white sharks going after False killer whale though it seems that pilot whales have. The sperm whale might bite considering humpbacks are known to raking orcas as well males use them in infraspecific combat . Though probably won’t be too effective since studies shown that even sperm whales with missing jaws show no signs of starvation. Also resent research shows that sperm whales most likely didn’t use their sonar to incapacitate prey. Whale are known to use their fluke in self defense as well. Otherwise it was a great well put together video and I generally agree with everything else.
MNHM CP 62's weight should be higher just saying
@@Dinosaur_Guy 14:00 I used the same weight as dizzy rose. Idk what to tell.
@@aottadelsei980 based on the lengths it should be ~156.5 tons
@@Dinosaur_Guy yes because an extra 2-4 feet to will give an animal around 20 tons
@@aottadelsei980 you can scale the model yourself if you want. Due to the square cube law mass grows exponentially compared to length
Yo Dizzy remember me long time ago im starting a new channel
Sperm whale vs Megalodon battle is similar to
T rex ( Meg) vs Spinosaurus ( sperm) fight on land and we know who would win in both cases
Calling Spinosaurus Sperm got to be the most devious thing i have seen in a while 😭
Megalodon violates low diff. W fax
Sperm whale curb stomps low diff
I do think megalodon definitely has a good chance against sperm whales since megalodons are more agile due to their flexible cartilage, stronger bite force with 7 inch razor sharp, robust, serrated teeth that are designed for crushing bones and tearing through flesh with ease. Also due to fact that it's well known that Megalodon's know how to hunt baleen whales by tearing off fins and damaging tails, a sperm whale shouldn't be no different. Am sure a few well placed bite to the body, along by tearing off fins and damaging the tail, should be enough to take down the whale. Now this just what i think, the battle could take a different turn but to me, i think big sharky takes the win.
Megaladon Monster🔥
W
Sperm whale~ 45-105 tonnes
Megalodon~ 61-156 or 164 tonnes.
Not to mention Sperm whales jaws aren't suitable for killing that's same sized shark or bigger than it .
Megalodon wins low-mid diff ( 80% of the time)
180 ton sperm whale slams ez low-mid diff.
I find it hard that megalodon would be faster than the average sperm whale, noting that larger animals then to be slower to preserve energy. Yes quick burst would be possible but to keep long momentum going it will require a lot of energy. It would of been more plausible that it may have went for the weak and old. In Fact it may have to be so slow that it would of required to be insteath mode majority of the time to avoid using excess energy. Its effective attacks would be very close and personal to achieve a successful hunt. This may be the reason it went extinct due to smaller yet faster marine life that the megalodon couldn't keep up such as dolphins, tooted whales and smaller sharks
Easy dub for the shark
Neogene-Pleistocene(just Fixing)
Those Megalodon 100+ tons weight estimates are unofficial. So no, can't go by unofficial numbers..
It is official, you can check Cooper’s and Peréz’s Reconstruction, no one found salt from it

They aren’t. A recent paper estimates GHC6 at over 100t.
