I think speed is a tie and agility should be Megalodon. Both were too big to swim for extended periods but can produce burst of speed to catch prey. Megalodon probably could generate more thrust meaning a slightly greater speed but not enough to call a big advantage but it was definitely more maneuverable.
@@tarendravinayagar4319most people think this battle is like great white vs orca. Firstly orcas are bigger than great whites by like 4x the weight. Megalodon and otodonids (megatoothed sharks) are specialized and experts for taking down cetaceans (whales, dolphins). Whales like the blue whale, right whale, grey whale got bigger today even killer whales did because of megalodons extinction. This shark and it’s cousins like Chubutenis is the reason why whales couldn’t even evolve much bigger then they are today.
@@dizzyrose1809 Very true. Great whites usually attack the flippers and belly while Megalodon goes for the chest and ribcage, crushing the heart with it's enormous bite force. I wonder though, would a false killer whale vs great white be the same as Megalodon vs Livyatan
@siddiqgamesyt3354 actually I’m not really going to be looking at 100 tons estimate since it could be exaggerated but I do agree that the whale is more agile. The most reliable sized for the animals are Livyatan 44-57 ft long and 50-62 tonnes Megalodon was 50-66 ft long maybe 70 ft and 55-87 tonnes possibly more. (127 tonnes) maxed out since it’s a estimate people could use still but more likely under 100 tonnes
@user-oj2jx4le9q bro what💀, the megs jaw was much wider than the thin jaw on the leviathan and had a much stronger bite force, bigger teeth doesn't mean stronger biteforce
I feel like the weapons aspect should go to the megalodon because it teeth dispite being half was more effective and was WAY more sharp combined with the massive bite force 2x of leyi bite also the ramm of the megalodon at 60 feet at full speed could break a concerte WALL so ya the weapons point should go to megalodon that leyi but other than that it's accurate vid Also megalodons sprinting speed was 2x faster than the modern day great white NO JOKE
I respect that the reason why I put it to livyatan is because it could bite, ram, and has echolocation it could use to stun the shark if it focuses it at it. Just had more weapons but the shake has a more effective bite for ripping and crushing while livyatan bite is met for holding.
Technicaly, the newest study (i will name the publisher once i find it again) puts it at 13.8 meters on average and in the presumable 38-48 tons range (no actual estimate given for weight)
Durability goes to Livyatan if Megalodon and Livyatan are same size but if Its max sized then Durability goes to Megalodon for weighing Almost 2X as much as Whale. even though Livyatan has Thicker skin
@Biologist Aidan Megalodon might kill the mosasaurus but not instantly since the reptile is 20-25 metric tons and has small, thick, and durable scales on the back and has thick whale like skin everywhere else and Megalodon has a bite of 18.5 metric tons so maybe a fully grown healthy female Megalodon can take down a mosasaurus but it would take quite a beating and would need to bite several times to get through the defenses of the Meuse river lizard and the bite force is very powerful but not as strong as the Megalodon but mosasaurus can out-speed and outmaneuver the Megalodon which would make it very hard to catch the mosasaurus so give mosasaurus at least mid diff
@Biologist Aidan also the 60-70 ton shastasaurus could ram into the Megalodon and eventually kill it with a possible tail slam also Livyatan would kill Megalodon due to large teeth, intelligence, massive powerful head for ramming, massive and strong tail, echolocation, and sonar which could stun anything
