In fusion mode it’s possible to get 8 lines at once with 2 line pieces. If a Tetris piece falls on a puyo it’ll count as dropped and let you start placing the next piece but it will slowly fall through layers of puyo. So with a deep enough well you can put an I piece in there and while it’s falling through puyos you put another I piece on top of it and clear 8 lines
Ex doesn't even have a Tetris+ voice line lol. Found the inconsistency in the settings and decided to test it out myself. Turns out they just didn't include it into the game, or Matthew was never recorded with that line, with neither default nor alternate voice.
It still says tetris plus, though the 8 lines are taken in consideration unlike party, so 8 lines do more damage than 7 which do more damage than 6 and so on. Scoring-wise i didn't take a look, but unless you're looking for a 3-star strat on adventure, i don't think it matters.

On Tetris blitz you can score over 4,000 pts on X1 On magical Tetris it makes a Pentris which receives 1,000+ pts I didn't play Tetris effect so I can't understand what happen with this
It's a T pentomino. If you design it any other way then it's just not a T anymore. They could have turned the T into an X or a Y, but then T-Spins wouldn't make sense since it's not a T you're dealing with anymore.

Tetris plus is so satisfying to do, yet you don't get anything beyond a regular Tetris for it.
You get twice the points though, and only points matter in party so I'd say it's still somewhat worth it to hold onto an I if you get thrown pentos.
You should play Tetris PSP/ Tetris Revolution/Tetris Blitz. EA released this for Tetris Plus feature.
A tetris plus can also be performing Fusion mode.
