I have no idea how a human mind can work that fast. Are you locking and loading the image of all five of the next pieces in your mind the instant they show up on screen? That's absolutely bonkers. I never thought I was *that* good at Tetris anyway, but WOW I can't believe how high the ceiling is.
Imagine a juggling act (with 7 balls) where every time a ball is thrown, that ball is actually caught by a second person and a different ball is placed into the "loop". The juggled balls here are pieces, and when I throw one, it's placing the piece. I never have to juggle 5 new balls at any point. It's not necessarily processing 5 pieces at once, it's just one at a time - because that's how you place the pieces and consequently, how they show up in the NEXT queue. It gets crazier, though. check out madkiwi's channel. there should be a cryptic video that shows him bursting a 100 combo at six pieces per second, which is a speed that I cannot replicate (should be named something like 'p' or another one-letter name)

4 wides are weird to combo with. Its really hard to start it up especially if you dont look at the sequence coming up, then after a while of doing it you start to realize what peices are the most consistent while going fast, and the quickest to place and stuff unconciously or not. After you start unless you get unlucky with S and Z peices you won’t stop. And then you start getting faster as you practice. Until you hit the ceiling. Then you are sad and do PC opener. The 4 wide is supreme.
@@EEDGFE there is no real leaderboard. While it is a world record, the screen was edited to look like that. For this mode, set the board to be 4x8, then set the mode to TIMED instead of LINES.
@@Collguy-kp3mr for blitz, just set it to 4-wide and 8-high. Nothing else needs to be changed, other than the goal and key, depending on what you want. If you want a true 4w preset experience add in SRS-X and handheld spins
after Keiko's 46 million, madkiwi got an unrecorded 100 million score and the world record stagnated for a bit after that. I built up from a 48 million (world 2nd place) to a 68 million, to a 70 million that didn't even last the whole two minutes. I then double my personal best to 134M (see other videos on this channel) and then beat it with this score.
