We picked up a couple of these also. Wow, what a sick knife.

Just got mine today. I was waiting for someone to do a disassembly. I'm gonna use mine & eventually have to take it apart

Hope you end up making a set of carbon scales, love this knife. Absolutely zero play even with the extra lock disengaged. It's definitely overengineered with the lock, I think the entire knife can be slimmed down a bit if that was taken out.

Not doing scales too much work and I agree it's definitely thick

    Thanks for the disassembly video
Was curious how it worked. How does it lock up inside. Is it inside the hollow pivot pin. I didn't get a good look at the button itself. Does that whole big pivot spin with the blade. Took some screenshot stills of your video. Can't see Inside the pivot real good though

I have a couple on the way. Looks great. How’s the detent? Can you shake it open? I hope not. And did you say the hardware was T8? Good vid 👍

I wanted to love it so damn bad but the button stick is fucking disgustingly sticky and to the point that it just stays stuck open. Even when the lock isnt engaged. When it’s stuck I have to pull the button all the way out and then insert the plunger and disengage the blade than screw it back in. Drives me friggin insane.

Mine works wonderfully. After taking it apart I really don't see how it can have button stick 🤔

Not bad for the price tbo. I wonder how good the nitro-v is though. Not even we knives does it decent. Millet knives does it good.

Anyone else drops a $112 Nitro-V knife and you say it's not worth it but it's ok for Reate I see 🤣🤣

@@Knifeaddictdillon I mean if, and only if its ht good. Though it looks like the finishing is above normal too. Doesnt seem too bad for 112. Most 14c28n comes in around 70 on average, and most of those are budget models. I personally wouldn't buy this knife until more is know about the ht and hardness and ideally a cardboard cut test.

You should always sharpen a factory edge. The factory edge will be the worst in any brand no matter what.

@tacticalcenter8658 yeah saw your channel . Nice but some knives will last . Also depends on the edge retention and steel used I suppose . And if you hard use a knife it will get dull.

@@fabsterun no, goto outpost76. Every single cut test with factory edge will never last. 1 to 3 sharpening are necessary.
