Mate… That blue face, laughed my bacon sandwich right back out of my hole this morning. Good time fella! 🤟Cheers for the shout out too, so good of you!👍
Awesome job! Best line in the whole video “I was hating my life sanding!” My 36’ was restored after wrecked and I decided to spray gel coat so I could repair in the future but it was such a big process!
Good job, mate! I am struggling just now with sanding and preparing the hull for the painting of my sailboat. This video comes in very handy! Can't wait to see the next video with the top coat on!
Man love❤ your channel I'm new to it but love ❤ your boat also & your accent I could listen to you all day incredible job you did to the boat so talented ❤ from usa Norristown PA
Cheers Andy.. great job..! just wondering... did you ever consider using vinyl wrap instead of paint..? your take on taking that approach would be greatly appreciated..👍
You may try the roller and brush thinner No.100 next time... Just working with Perfection also for my kitchen at home. Scratch resistance is key and a good boat paint is just the right choice. Regarding the rollers you used: Aren't they dissolving after about half an hour? I tried several ones but all of them will fall apart after about maximum an hour or they swell up.
Yes they were lasting about half an hour before the cells started to break down, the epoxy rollers weren't available in sausage shape from anywhere, so this way the best we got!
@@OceanCruisersCheck out the Channel of Boatworks today, he's made videos about painting with 2K Paints and recommend mohair rollers. Have tried it today with high quality rollers and am absolutely satisfied with the results. But I'm curious if you had the same trouble in removing the dust after sanding. Whether it's my sandpaper or it's the paint but I've been removing dust with these waxy sheets for three times before painting today and still had some dust on my hand. I'm working in a shed and must say I never had an paint before with such long open time as with International Perfection and Thinner 100, after almost 3 hours the paint began to become sticky at 20 degrees Celsius.

What is FOPAR, did you mean FUBAR. I did not envy you and the sanding, it a tireless monotonous job, but she’s starting to look good.
Faux Pax, its French for, I dropped a bollock
@@OceanCruisersFaux pas. From French meaning “something you mustn’t do”.
