It's an inside joke on this channel that when I play tanks in War Thunder, I always get targeted by planes. I thought I would raise the stakes with a challenge video.

Challenge: you can only use the commander view as external view (like in Sim basically)
Extra challenge: If your commander gets killed and not replaced, you can‘t use external view at all, but only driver / gunner view
One must imagine a spookston video without CAS (Sisyphus has a higher chance of getting that giant ass rock to stay on top of the mountain)
Props to Spookston for purposely taking CAS magnets and tanks that are easily destroyed by overpressure. On the bright side you got some McNuggets out of it

I think ironically something like a Maus or Doom Turtles or other super heavy heaps of sadness would be better CAS magnets - park yourself in a decent spot amd wait for the rain to come

i agree, but be careful with super sour stuff because of stomach ulcers and whatnot. if you already have stomach issues that super sour shit will be so painful

@@Spookston that tank now gets constant downtiers. on my 8.0 british lineup i get 8.7 or 9.0 games around 80% of the time, and there is at least 2-3 of those tanks. Like the brits have only APDS and HESH, good luck...
even if they die, they either spawn a backup 279 or an IS-7.
not only that, but a constant spam of kpz/mbt-70, xm-803, and soviet tanks with composite just makes it even worse.
this is a thypical situation, when there is no problem, but gaijin just makes one
@@o-hogameplay185you are right. It's also killing me inside knowing russia will get another T 55 next update. As if there wasn't enough of them and they weren't overpowered already.
@@o-hogameplay185 Some of it is the event currently going on. Gaijin really shouldn't have put the BR changes through *right before* the event. It completely screwed up my lineup immediately beforehand and I didn't have time to work on a more solid lineup.
But yes, events are when Object 279's come out in force, along with IS-7's and some of the other sweaty tanks around that BR range, and they are getting nothing but downtiers on 8.0 tanks. I will reserve full judgement on the BR changes until after the event ends, but I'm not holding my breath too much since there's almost nothing at 7.3-8.0 to facilitate a balance of downtiers along with the constant uptiers. Hopefully there will be less 279's at least.
In this case, I wouldn't say Gaijin made a problem but rather simply moved the problems of 6.3-6.7 up the BR ladder to 8.0.

Great video! You mentioned how much people hate the VFW, maybe a video on the most hated vehicles in WT? Puma, R3, etc.
I did the hot ones challenge with a group of friends, #10 tastes like straight chemicals, the rest of the sauces are actually kinda good. 8-9 were horrible to me, but after that 10 was "relatively" easy

As someone who has spaded the R3, and has ripped the damned thing to pieces with MGs and main cannons, I can confirm they do indeed snarl like hallucinating chihuahuas.
My fav spaa (while i dont play high BR) is the ostwind II so far, its so good, you can even switch to AP rounds to blow up the odd PE8 bomb out of the sky. I like the wirb and m16 but the big caliber on the ostwind is so satisfying and with a good crew it doesnt feel sluggish
