The American T20 medium tank doesn't seem like it should be very good at all. It's basically just a smaller M4 Sherman that can reverse faster, but at a battle rating of 6.0 is higher than Panthers and Tigers. Yet it does way better than it has any right to. It's a bit like the 76 Jumbo in that regard. I just hope Gaijin don't watch this video, otherwise it might go up to 6.3.

Oh I seem to get the most brain dead german team mates, but I swear when I get pissed and go to another country suddenly they can spot me across the map through trees, bushes and hit my weak spot perfectly and always know you are coming.... Then again that might be a ESP/Aimbot user.
I did face him once when he made a video about the AGS. Only got to the A point in Poland, got 2 kills and was done for lol.
@@SilvaDreams today I had a match on my 5.3 french lineup, the new snow Artic map, so got the EBR and flank C side and I swear there was a horde of tiger 1s, panthers and jagdpanthers charging C straight on without even looking at the sides, I scout'em all , got triple kill just next to me , and the entire match I had enemys charging on the same route all the time , I got 5th position with 6 kills, all the others 7 or 8.

@@lexmen1089 I ended up in a Normandy game with him once in his KV220. I went back and watched the replay from player view, and he just surgically disassembled the enemy team.
Spookston gets the most brainless German mains as enemies while the German mains I go against are actively playing in a mock up tiger tank and have the situational awareness of a hawk.

I play with germans they are the most brain dead lot... But some how they are like tanking gods when I swap to another country.

Some games I get over 10 kills and can carry the team and others I barely get out of spawn when I die because I literally have to play with no sound and honestly can't hear the enemy tanks or planes (this is due to my PS4 becoming a Mig -15 Jet engine when I boot WT up)

@melle9155 yeah, it was released at 5.0. It was then 5.3 for the longest time, then got pushed up to 6.0 a few months back I think.

German (mostly) and Russian mains dont have alot of basic mental functions though, thats why they get such a massive handhold. Its hilarious until you play USA and then realize you are witnessing exactly why so much of the tree is over-BR'd, nerfed, or artificially limited.

Piaget was the GOAT of pedagogy (child learning and behaviour.. nothing to do with catholic priests) If you get a chance, grab one of his books it really opens up the eyes to why kids do what they do. As a parent, it really saved my sanity, and at times possibly my kids physical well being.
These days, he also probably also explains the behaviour of quite a few "adults"

You should do a video on the Pershing as a follow-up to this tank! Its not the best tank but I do think its slept on.
The Pershing is one of my favorite tanks in the american tree, ever since I got it I use it everytime I play company of heroes 2
I love the Pershing and Super Pershing, but Sherman's ruined me. I got way too used to playing medium tanks with a stabiliser and I got sad when I learned the Pershing didn't have one.
Still a great tank though.
I find both the M26 and T25 to be absolute misery to play. Gun is an American 90mm which are always painful to use in any game that has them, the mobility is meh at best and they have a massive amount of dead weight on both the hull and turret.
personnally , i think it's because they are just not interesting , they are absolut sh*t in uptier and average in bottom tier , their mobility isn't great , their armor neither , the T25 was interesting because it's faster than a M26 but gaijin remove it's stab so its not very interesting anymore. And overall 6.3 US sucks compared to other nations
The Pershing is amazing once u know how to play it, the armour is actually decent if u angle a little and the 90mm can deal with tigers and panthers easily. Plus the APCR can pen tiger 2 turret and Ferdinand. Though it should be 6.0.

You should play the 2.3 Russian T-80, it has the mobility of a German super heavy, a turret that takes a full hour to rotate 90°, the armor of a truck, and a gun that is almost as good as a .50 cal. The pinnacle of Russian engineering!

True. I'm a big fan. Has low profile, nice high penetrating APHE and even HEAT-FS.
Once, one ended my Jumbo killing spree because I shot the front with 75mm APC from 10m and got killed in return 😂
The ASU-85 is quite an interesting tank.
the ASU sucks ass, the gun is amazing though. Thats why the Object 906 is so high in BR. The gun is basically a long 88 with I believe slightly more pen and more filler

@@schullerandreas556 The ASU-85 doesn't suck per se, it's just absurdly picky with how you play it. Pretty poor in any map that doesn't have open fields. The rangefinder and high pen make it a force to be reckoned with. I just wish it wasn't so slow.
4:41 That weird shot on the Tiger happened because the Tigers front armour actually goes slightly above the hull roof and if you aim too high at the front of a Tiger it simply hits this area not connected to the crew cabin and deal no damage, as for why it angled down after hitting it at that angle, it was probably a server issue.
Watching this hurt so much. Germany at 5.7-6.7 is probably the most fun you get-

@Hyperborean Feelz Eh... I wouldn't call 5.3 to 6.7 germany sluggish. If you have a panther or tiger spaded they HAUL ASS. I think if there is one thing they fail at it's learning weak points, and of course being about the size of a house doesn't help them. They can't really... hide.

Yeah, both the Panther and Tiger II are really skedaddily for their armor class. Most of their 5.7-6.7 tanks can be summarized as medium tanks on 50 pounds of steroids. Only problem is that it still takes brain cells to do well in them without getting slapped, something a majority German mains are completely incapable of, sadly.

Sometimes do I wonder if the a lot of the screams about Russian bias in lower tiers is mostly coming from the fact that many of the games more janky physics unintentionally work very well in the T-34's favour

The whole point is, the tank is at best average but because the German teams at the same BR are such absolute tripe, it's somehow become a wonder-waffle death machine exterminator. In reality, it is like many have said: A short Sherman with some mild stat tweaking. German tanks of even lower BRs can clown on this thing if you give them 1/8th of a chance to do so.
@@dawndarklight44 You would be surprised how far being a shorter, faster version of a tank can get you. In my opinion its better than the panther just because its shorter, faster and has a stabilizer.

As in "win conditions" the panther has a virtually infinite amount of win conditions against this tank and most american tanks it faces since it can pen just about every where unless it is a T34 or a jumbo, while all american tanks except the rare heavies have to do elaborate disabling jiu jutsu or flanks just to effectively damage outside of close range.

It was 4.7 when I bought it. 1500+ battles forward, now it's 6.0 and still demolishing the enemy. This tank is just amazing.
The 6.0 lineup this thing gets is very reliably fun and competitive to play. Also like running it at 6.3 with the Super Hellcat A1-H f4u-4b and m41. Highly reccomend getting these lineups if you just want war thunder to be less stressful and more of a joy to play

7.0 is a very rare BR in my experience, so anything decent at 6.0 tends to have a good time
Could you play the puma and see how high of a battle rating you can go and still perform well? Basically start at it's standart br then go up until it's not really usefull anymore

Theres no other puma than 3.0 puma. Just like there is no other NUKE than FAB5000.
The Puma is way better than German mains bitch about. It's super cheap and still viable for W hold ops after you get the cancer leKpz and Wiesel. You can surprise the shit out of paper skin IFVs.

The closer I get to 6.7 the more APCR I bring as I just happen to be lucky (or unlucky) enough to run into every Heavy tank on the enemy team when I pass into the 7.3 games I go back to the standard PzGR rounds as the main ammo I take

The WW2 Puma is at least able to be up to 5.0 considering the EBR 1951 just got moved up to 5.3 despite having extremely similar metrics and performance. I thought the Puma being moved the 3.0 meant they might have actually been fair to the EBR 1951 and AMX 13 FL11. I saw the EBR 1951 at 4.3 and said OMG but then I realized I was in arcade mode BR's. Switched it back to RB and the FUCKING THING was moved up to 5.3. It's incredible how big of a difference the capabilities of the team makes. Because, while the EBR 1951 is somewhat better than the Puma and in a few fairly important ways, the Puma is about as good, has about double the reload speed with similar post pen damage and is every bit as capable as other late war speedy tank killers and light tanks. It's like how the Pak Puma was sitting at 2.7 or 3.0 when the T55E1 was introduced at like 4.7 or 5.0. The different expectations of players in Germany's tech tree over American, and minor nations is substantial. Russia is the only tree that's close in terms of favoritism.

I just don't understand how volumetric still isn't fixed. It happens to me almost every game and it's just so annoying to know that you would have had a chance at winning the round, if your shots wouldn't magically bounce even though it has to be an obvious pen.

Your second match on that open map. Yes, that enemy spawn is a death sentence. Because it's on low terrain and your spawn gives easy access to hills that give you line of sight in to their spawns almost right out the gate. Its a terrible layout and a nightmare if you're in modern tanks too.
That spawn is a nightmare no matter the BR, but yes your right getting that spawn at top tier is horrible

Remember when the T25 was at 5.7. Thing rocked, now it's 6.3 and seems to be alot slower than before, feels slower than the m26. So it's basiclly a m26 with alot less armor, and possibly is slower(especially at low MPH). And I feel like my 90mm bounces alot more on tigers and panthers alot more than before.
Not to mention that it had it's stabilizer removed, meaning your only advantage over the M26 is that you have a better reverse gear and the barrel is a bit harder to knock out
