That was game of the season and was shades of 96 against Newcastle. Johnathan Pearce, Alistair Bruce Ball and Garry Taphouse all on comms on three different broadcasts. That second half was special. From midway through that first half onwards we were absolutely incredible. Höbinger’s set pieces were luscious. That Leanne Kiernan goal was 👌 🔥. Thunderous winner from Bonner, that was a special goal. World class save from Micah right at the end too. YNWA 💪

....and what a game it was!! The pressing was superb, and it was very evident how much the girls wanted this win.
But to be fair, Chelsea's back line had a bad day at the office... seeing Millie B. back in the line up, I was expecting more..., oh and of course, them not having both Sam Kerr and Lauren James out, also benefited us.
Much like in our Mens 1st Team, it also seems that since their boss, Emma Hayes, announced her departure, their season has started to fall apart. At one point, it looked a lot like several Medals were waiting for them, come end of Season..., just like our Lads were hoping for.
I suppose, i'm only echoing what you are saying here, so i'll back off a bit.
Wanna say a quick thanks Neil, you're doing an excellent job here for our Girls, as well as for the U23s.
I must say that I find it Incredible and very necessary, that you are doing this, and i'm very, VERY surprised that i've not found anything on the LFC TV Channel... where it most certainly should be! After all, our Women have a very modern and well equiped training ground, if not the best in the WSL, and Matt Beard is doing an incredible job, slowly progressing up the league to hopefully a Champions League position next year! Oops, have I just jinxed it now?.
