  • Liverpool currently have no fewer than 18 players out on loan, but how are they all getting on, and will any of them be able to make an impact on the first team?
Here, I assess the prospects of Tyler Morton, Fábio Carvalho, Sepp van den Berg and the rest...🔴

Sepp was recently named in a team of the highest rated players across all 5 top leagues. Id say we should bring him back.

Great to hear about the loan players, pity you didn't have any of the stats pop up on the screen but that would've been labour intensive.
I thought Tyler Morton's performances for Blackburn (46 Games, 0 Goals, 4 Assists playing as a DM 26 times) last year warranted him a chance in the Liverpool first team given at the time we had Fabinho and Henderson Transfering out and had lost Thiago and Bajcetic to long term injuries. Morton's performances this year have gone up a level registering 33 Games, 3 Goals, 5 Assists (providing 2 assists for Fabio Carvalho) playing as a DM 18 times and as a CM 11 times which is just a bit better than Wataru Endo (36 Games, 3 Goals, 1 Assist) for Liverpool this season, so I'm hoping that with a new manager coming in Tyler Morton will be looked and and given a chance in the first team.
As for Fabio Carvalho i think we was all a bit surprised when he went out on loan and ever more surprised he wasn't able to play more for RB Leipzig (15 Games, 0 Goals, 0 Assists) but this loan move to Hull City has revitalised him and shown us his potential with 14 Games, 7 Goals, 0 Assists, I get it's 'only the Championship' but that's still a good ratio. I think during the pre season he definitley needs to be looked at as he could have a role to play for Liverpool next season.
I think it's weird some of the clubs and leagues in which we send out loan players like Marcelo Pitaluga at St. Patrick's Athletic in League of Ireland Premier Division, Reece Trueman at Colwyn Bay in Cymru Premier in Wales, Luke Hewitson at Stalybridge Celtic in Non-League. Last season we had Fidel O'Rourke on loan at Caernarfon Town in the Cymru Premier in Wales, i'm just not sure that our youth players should be playing at such a low level, we need them playing at a higher level to help them progress.

I think Tyler Morton could take Thiago's place in squad next season. Given we need another CB and left footed winger as Salah's backup/replacement in the summer

Well I wasn't expecting you to react quite as strongly as you have and certainly didn't expect to hear my name here!
Thanks for your answer to my last comment, and respesct Neil, for such an immediate reaction to it's contents. One doesn't get that very often!
You've picked up on a very good and interesting topic here in this video, as so many of our young players go out on loan, and become Stars if not almost Gods at the Clubs that take them on. Take Morton and Cavallio for example, both of which have obviously caught your eye, and both very crucial and important to the success Hull are having atm. I'm sure that being LFC with its top level of Training staff and facilities that we have developed in recent years, has certainly played a big role in other clubs wanting to loan our upcoming lads, or should I say Talents? Oh, and it's not just the Lads, look how good Paz (Lucy Parry) has come back from her loan, and how quickly she has fitted into the LFC Women's team, offering Beardy such a strong alternative on that right side of the pitch!
Anyway, thanks for another good video, and wageing into a sector of the Footballing world that many seem to ignore... i.e. the Future! Cheers Steve.

@@neiljoneslfc Liverpool needs to get rid of 10 players who are now in the first team to get a radical solution to the problem

Hannah Silcock, Tyler Morton and Fabio Carvalho have to be in the squads next season. Hopefully Faye Kirby when she returns from her ACL injury stays with the first team too.

Really nice to see some coverage of our loan players. From what I’ve seen on Twitter, Pitaluga isn’t exactly loved at St Patrick’s which is a shame. Always looked a promising player.

Yep, there will always be loans that don't work, i.e. Carvalho at Leipzig. But, since he's been at Hull he's flying!

All depends on the new Manager /backroom staff. If it's Amorim then Carvalho has a great chance to come back into the fold if he wants too!

My thruppence worth to a couple names you mentioned..., I still cannot understand why Nat is still on our Payroll.., I follow Cardif and think of him as a top Defender although not for the style of play wanted/expected in our 1st team, Why is he still with us, we are slowing down his career. Another team I follow is Yverdon Sport (yep, pronounce the Y as, an E-ver-don), and enjoy every game in which Corness plays a part in, and that's now, I think 18 - 20 games. He is a Loanee that defo has a bright future, if he finds the right club. Apparently his French is coming on well. And lastly a word on Morton, i'm sure he'll make his future at Hull, as with every game he plays there, it seems he's making himself more and more indespencable.

Well I seemed to have echoed your thoughts here, but when I heard my name, and what you had to say, I paused the video and wrote my comment..., of course not knowing that you had already featured the 2 at Hull here. Had I only watched it out first, before writing!!
