- It's another academy update as we reflect on Liverpool U21s' impressive 3-0 win over Manchester United at Old Trafford, and a show of character from the U18s, who drew 2-2 at Everton.
There's a special focus, too, on Jayden Danns, a young striker who has made big strides this season. Can the 18-year-old establish himself as a genuine option for the Reds going forward? - Спорт
JD... has a fantastic future waiting for him, I hope it's with us. I agree his back-heeler was 1st class.., performed as if it was the most natural thing in the World.
btw. the Women's Player of the Month winner, Grace Fisk, needs much more media coverage than it's had.
Doing a great job Neil thx, surprising that Mels and SHunter are not doing this sort of thing on LFCTV, so it's a good job we've got you!!
For the life of me I do not understand why Jurgen has not given Danns or Koumas a chance during this period when our forwards could not hit a cow's arse with a banjo. Danns in particular has already shown he has the balls and temperament for stepping up, and the talent to finish a chance. Drives me nuts to see Darwin, Salah and Diaz to keep missing chance after chance when we have not given him a single minute in this barren run. Mental.
Not mental at all. These academy forwards usually end up at Blackpool or in the Scottish league. Woodburn, Ojo, Kent, Brewster, Morgan, Herbie Kane. All looked good but never made the grade. Gordon another who won't. Fowler was the last academy forward who made it, says it all. Nunez is a dud but the others are far better than any of the youngsters. Klopp sees them in training not the fans.
My word, just watched that untied game. Brilliant goals!!
Cheers NJ 👍👍👍
Love your content bud. Hope Danns has a future
Lewis koumas and Jayden danns my favourite academy players.
I would include JD on the bench for all our remaining games. We need goals so what an option to bring him on for the last 20 minutes or so. He seems a more natural finisher than Darwin, Diaz or Gakpo. YNWA
he is 100% worth bringing on for 20-30 mins.
Danns is the present and the future. He should have been involved up front in recent weeks to rotate, share the load and show the wasters how it is done.
Would urge Klopp to have him on the bench at least for the remaining games.
Danns is young and grounded, a year on loan in league 1 of Championship will do him good
Dan’s reminds me of Harry Kane
Danns by far is better than wasteful Nunez and Diaz.
Agree, but I just wish he had a bit more speed. He's built like a ox and looks heavy boned.
