The # of darts in a burst is related to the volume of air so a bigger air bladder would shoot more darts per stomp.
(My RSCBed power plunger shoots 6+ dart blasts with a barrel about that size.)

yo I made a mortar with adjustable angles out of one of these. You can put an actual footpump on them to get them to go crazy fast. Very cool burst fire idea.

I think if you'd place your valve on the back end of the magazine tube you could get a fully automatic system without need to "reload" after each burst.

Now I'm imagining a Nerf gun that has the foot pump attached to your shoe permanently but with a sliding valve inside the blaster so that pressure gets released when you step unless you use some mechanism to make the chamber air tight (sliding valves?) and actually fire with the pressure when you take the next step. That way you can run around in a fight without some unwieldy pump thing you have to throw on the ground.

I did this just last week, the extrusion is just a glued cap, and the dart has alot of space though, so it was a good idea to switch them out
I love gimmicky blaster that work as intended they're not practical but they're lot's of fun
You need to make a second one and attach both to the bottom of your Nerf Crocs so you can be blasting while you walk.
Idea: have multiple air bags connected in parallel somehow so you can fire them in succession. You'd need a valve at the output of each air bag so the pressure of the shared tube is only affected by the pocket that you're stepping on. This way you can step on pocket 1, step on pocket 2, etc and the other pockets will recharge as you're not using them.

You should make something like this but smaller.
Like a spy gun and the air bag is between your armpit and arm and the air tube will be running down your arm to the barrel.
If people think they’ve cornered you. You can then swing your arm into your side and fire a burst of darts from a barrel in your sleeve.
Using air pumps with Nerf is always so cool!

What you need is a bidirectional valve, another stomp bag, and then tape the bags to your feet.

Bro just made an assault nerf-dart-shooting shotgun made out of magically transparented pipes
blowdart without having to blow the dart.
Extend the air tube, attach the stomp pad to your shoes for the ultimate offensive weapon.
Project idea:
Make 2 of those air bladders that you stomp to get air pressure, and put each below each heel connected to an air tank that holds the air pressure
Then connect said air tank to a trigger of sorts and a barrel afterwards
Now the more you stomp the ground, the more air pressure you you get, and the more you shoot, meaning you can keep holding the gun while recharging it by just stomping or running somewhere
You're on the right path. Keep going.

now you just gotta put the bellows into some Moon Boots, have 2, and add a small line to the back of the magazine to push the darts forward automatically. then, with a few valves, you could run around and essentially be firing on full auto! 🤣
