We are Jacob and Jenny, a husband and wife passionate about traveling the world. We started uploading in May, 2021 with a goal to see as much of the globe as possible. After visiting Costa Rica and French Polynesia, the time was right to quit our full-time jobs, so we left everything to travel and have loved every minute of it. Our goal is to make it to all seven continents and visit as many countries as possible. Follow along and be a part of the journey!

One of my favorite parts is learning about transportation & options for traveling locally in Portugal. Beautiful country!
It is amazing!! Thank you for watching :)
I love Sintra! When you said you were going to walk up, I had to laugh! Glad you made it!
Hahaha it was definitely a long walk 😂 so funny. The end was worth it though!
Missed the best .... Quinta da Regaleira. Maybe another time.
Another time! Thanks for watching :)
Fun, but I hope you are in Sintra for more than 1 day! The best is the Quinta da Regaleira and there's the national palace and downtown too! It took us 3 10 day trips to discover a lot of this magical part of Portugal! Continued great travels!!
Oh wow that sounds great!! There is definitely so much to explore there! Thanks for your comment friend :)
A pity you didn´t get to see Quinta da Regaleira. It is a must! The Initiation Well and the Grotto is among the coolest things you´ll see in Portugal.
Darn we missed it! Hopefully we can come back and see it soon! Thanks for the information :)
Fabulous tour such a wonderful place to visit, Travelling in portugal is nice experience, thank you for filming and allowing us to see
It is great!! We love it. Thank you so much for watching :)
Palácio da Pena - It's a Palace, no a castle, and previous it was a monastery (XVI centurry) and previous a church (XII century). And no, the type of construction is not related to any "empire decline" but with the love of Fernando (King consort) towards D. Maria II, (Queen of Portugal)and its own romantic character....
That is great to know! Thanks for the information :)
What's up guys! Just saw you on Wity Travel's latest vlog in Romania. Great to see two happy couples meeting up. Keep doing your best. You're almost at 16k subs but the real importancde keep being happy-go-lucky on and off the vlogs.
Hey Eddie!! We are so glad you found us, we had a great time hanging out with Katy and Will!! Thanks so much for your kind words and for watching our video :)
Beautiful castle
It is gorgeous!! Thank you for watching :)
I've been seeing your videos, trying Portuguese food, and I'm very happy, because in the last video, that I saw of you, you came to my town, Sintra and the first restaurant that you eat, is right next to my house, not the best restaurant in Sintra... Not even close, but it's alright. Welcome to Sintra, you're a very nice couple 👍👍
We are so glad you are enjoying our videos! We loved Portugal! Thanks for your comment :)
...and I thought I had poor planning.😁😁👌👌
Hahaha yeah that was our bad 😂
hi jennay and jacob how are you guys ive been making music and its so great and its cool 😃
Hi Sam! That is amazing!! I bet the music is great 🎉
Great video! It seems like Ferdinand's castle in Sintra is the Portugese equivalent of the Peles Castle in Sinaia, Romania.
Yeah that seems like a really good comparison!! Thanks for watching friend :)
Very interesting castle! Too much walking through but good for you, right?
It was really pretty, but the hike was a lot 😂 definitely a good work out though!
Good workout 😂
Hahaha you are so right, it definitely was 😂
Greetings again, Jacob and Jenny! I have never heard of Sintra, but then again, I've never heard about most places in Portugal besides Lisbon. As a keen student of Christian history and origins, the place that I would be most interested in visiting in Portugal, besides Lisbon, would be Fatima - the site of the appearance of the Virgin Mary to some teenage children back in the early years of the twentieth century. I don't know if you're headed there, but if you are, please give me a holler!
That is awesome, I (Jenny) actually got my bachelors degree in Christian studies! :) A few people did mention that place to us and it would definitely be an interesting place to check out. I will admit, I am a little but skeptic of that story, I will have to do some more research! Thanks so much for watching friend, we will be praying for your Biblical studies as well ♥️
@@JacobandJennyTravelI didn't know that you were interested in all that stuff, Jenny. I'm not your typical Bible thumper - my religious and spiritual views are quite metaphysical and eclectic. If you really want to know the truth about Christianity, you gotta look outside the Book - and think outside the box. One thing that keeps me from being a Christian is that I happen to believe in reincarnation, which Christianity today is dead set against - even though Jesus himself teaches it to his disciples right in the gospels! In my reading on Christian history and origins, I tend to gravitate towards scholars like Bart Ehrman and James Tabor - whose videos are also up on UA-cam. And even if you're skeptical about Fatima, Jenny, you should still check it out - approach it with an open mind, and share that openness with your viewers.
LoL. Even Thai food taste ok in Atlanta. 🎉❤
Haha!! We miss eating Thai food in Thailand! We hope to go back soon 🙌🏼 thanks for watching friend!!
I've been in LaLa Land, but never Fairytale Land! Katy makes the dazing off into space look that Jenny had in the cave all the time! Prison cell looks more comfortable than the tiny bed!
Hahaha!! I was so tired I just wanted to nap in the cave 😂
Jenny @ 4:01 to 4:03 contemplating life choices. 😅
Hahaha I was truly contemplating every choice that lead up to that moment 😂😂
Okay I’m confused because I went to Sintra, but the castle we saw was covered in moss and in ruins. I wonder where I went lol
I saw you said you went to Moorish castle!! That one looked so cool, we could see it from the castle we went to!!
Hello, how r u and currently where r u? Happy journey
Hi friend!!! We are doing good! Excited to head to some snowy countries in Europe for the winter ❄️ thank you so much for asking and for watching our video! Cheers!
Guyyyys going to Sintra and don’t go to Quinta da Regaleira is a rookie mistake 💔
Hopefully we can go back soon and see it! Thanks for the tip :)
@@JacobandJennyTravel meu querido, há tanto para ver que nem imaginas!
Forte Abraço
U go to sintra and dont eat Queijadas anD Travesseiros? 🤨
Hahaha we didn’t know that was a thing 😂 thanks for watching!
By confusing heavy metro with the typical urban trains it clearly shows you're Americans without a big understanding of public transportation. By the way, where were you hosted in Lisbon? If I'm not mistaken you showed your temporary house in Areeiro neighborhood - if that was the place where you were hosted while in Lisbon then you literally had a train station called Areeiro in the neighborhood itself with regular trains to Sintra.
And yes, since July of this year you can buy your ticket in the tourniquets in the station or in the validation machines on the stations if you have a contactless card in every public transportation in Lisbon.
We have traveled to 33 countries and this is only the second time we have ever gotten on the wrong train haha. We talked to the front desk and looked it up and walked to the closest train station that went straight to Sintra :) thanks so much for watching!
Yeah, when travelers visit a place they probably won’t be experts in the transit system right away. You don’t have to be rude.
@@JessKaplan They could have asked people in the site. I did the same thing when I was in Madrid some months ago.
