but that's cuz it's useless. The Pulverizer (with LeDoux Hockey Mask +25AP/Tribal Power Armor +15AP/10Aglity=150AP as your base) when used in VATS will completely fill your screen from BOTTOM to TOP with vats shots. Now, that's not even taking any Jet/uJet/Quantum/Miss.Quantum. For anyone who couldn't fit Grim Reaper's Sprint into their build, that gun will make up for the mistake.
I hated Point Lookout so much, it's like all th enemies do extra damage against you, and their little wimpy hunting rifles can apparently punch through T-51b power armor, with 85 DR, (Chinese stealth armor glitch ftw) I hated it and glad it's over, now I can go back to being an immortal god that shrugs off deathclaws.
Nate Witecki That's exactly it. Recognizing how overpowered you'd get, the developers had all of the weapons the tribals and locals carry do an extra 30 damage regardless of your armament. The Point Lookout DLC was made specifically to be much harder than the others. You're supposed to be fucking scared of those bitches.
I love the artwork of this game, the mplx novasurge just looks amazing, the tubes and pressure containers just go to show how much thought went into making it.
@EddieLolz3r Damage ratings for weapons are not only based on weapon condition, but also your corresponding gun skill. In the case of the Backwater Riffle you have to have a 100 small guns skill to do the maximum amount of damage possible.
Both of these videos (Fallout 3 DLC Weapon Guide 1/2 included) have been extremely helpful. Thank you so much. Oh, and i heard your ghoul impersonation while writing this. Spot on.
Flyboy™ When i first played the dlc i looked at everything, found a terminal with a dead guy in a bath tub. I thought it'd be something about that, but then it detailed a spy job.
Keep in mind that this video is not new, but yes the DLC is on steam. However, you need to remember that Steam DLC only works with the steam version of the base game. So you can't say mix a hard copy of FO3 with DLC bought on steam.
I'm so pissed I didn't kill the Samurai and take his awesome armor. It looks awesome, it boosts melee damage, and it's one of a kind. He doesn't even help in Mothership Zeta and he disappears pretty quickly after you meet him...
It's not like he can understand anything you're saying or he's having a weapon, but at the end of the dlc after he finds his sword you see a trail of alien bodies
In this video he left out 5 rare weapons which are The Dismemberer a special axe you get for completing the "safari" in Point Lookout while the other weapon is the Ritual Knife which is what was used to cut your head open. The final weapons are in Mothership Zeta and they are the Electro-Suppressor which is a special version of the shock baton which is found in the engine room during the quest where you have to destroy the generators. The other two weapons are the Samurai Sword and Paulson's
@walruscrowface he doesnt MISS or FORGET any weapons. He purposefully omits those weapons for his own reasons. besides, the captain's sidearm burns through alien power modules quickly and the damage it deals is small outside of critical hits.
there are more unique weapons in point lookout: - the fertilizer shovel (deals -4hp for 10 seconds [stackable]) and is carried by croatoa, one of the tribals in the church (you can get it from her with the child at heart perk or a speech check. - the ritual knife (not that good of a weapon but those who want all uniques will still want it) is near the krivbeknih during the quest "dark heart of blackhall) - the toy knife (a joke weapon dealing only 1 dmg per hit) is south of the detention camp
Btw, the firing range can be used to level up. It's very slow because I have only found raiders, sentry drones, deathclaws, and Albino Radscorpions. If your science is to low, you can slowly buy surely level up.
NOTE: there are 2 EX-B model's in the room described by the video, there are 2 Experimental Weapons Drone's in the room BOTH having a Drone Cannon EX-B in their inventory
oh and in mothership zeta you can kill paulson to take his revolver, take the captains sidearm from the alien captain after he is killed and you can find the samurai's sword in the waste disposal area (you need to find it before kago [the samurai] leaves the engineering core as he will find and take the sword once he has left [after he has left with it you can only acquire it by killing him when he appears again at the end of the dlc.
i got 2 discs with the goty edition, the second has all the dlc on it and you need to install it first, the first disc is the game. Once you start a game and exit vault 101 you get for each dlc a quest and just follow that particular quest to the dlc every weapon you find in the dlc can be used in the main game.
if you are smart about this, while on the alien ship you can get as many guns as you like, without worrying about weight, there is a room that you can go to when the ship is fully open and while the ship is also in shut down, this room has a rare horse toy so if you find the toy you no your in the right room, its simple, you just need to put all of your stuff collected in this room and you can come and go in it as you please, even when leaving the ship and coming back on board, as far as i no XD
revolver. To get the Samurai Sword you can either kill Toshiro or get it by searching a medical cabinet in the maintenance level during the quest among the stars. To get Paulson's revolver you are forced to kill Paulson as reverse pick pocketing wont work.
For any of you who thought that he missed weapons like the fertiliser or the dismemberer it's because he probably chose the weapons that would be of great use to you, I mean come on, would you prefer to battle a Reaver ghoul with a poisonous shovel or with an energy cannon that explodes on contact? If you opt for the shovel it's best to have atleast more than a days work spent on the game and go on easy difficulty to maximise the challenge without dying from it's radiation grenades on hard.
when trophies finished loading, hold down R2,L2 and Square for as long as you can, it will notify that you cleared your cache when the main page has loaded but there is no words.
@rnusiclover anchorage and broken steel are the only 2 DLCs that are really useful if your not interested in a full GOTY. Anchorage gives you a very good early start as it can be done at level 1 and broken steel gives you level 30 cap which is pritty balls and extends main game.
and the "dismemberer" wich does more dmg than normal axes and has a chance of 80% to sever all of an enemys limbs when killed as well as restoring 5 action points.
The exact same thing happened to me. The reason is you have not listened to the note that you received earlier and you just walked their. Just listen to the note and it will give you the option.
You forgot the Captain's Sidearm from mother ship zeta. You get it when you fight the captian but you gotta wait for him to draw it or you might not get it at all. Also there is a Unique shock baton as well it's called the Electro-Surpresser. Great guides by the way very helpful in my hunt for unique weapons.
well when u go there all ur weapons and armor will be gone but after u leave the cell and explore a bit u will find a container with all ur items so brind what ever u want
U CAN go back to the mothership... Not a glich not a hack.. Wen u talk to sally she said somthing being dropped into earth... Wen u go back to were u found the alien blaster the ship is gone but a beacon has landed.. That beacon u can use to go back n u will find a new captain ( sally )
i always do mothership zeta 3rd meaning after i get the metal blaster and the unbreakable power armor. btw you can go back to mothership zeta but only the bridge to get alien ammo daily (the alien are still dead) i forget the kid's name but she gives you some or the alien repair gel.
***** hmm.. I always thought that operation anchorage was the worst. Sure mothership zeta was a little goofy, but enjoyable. Anchorage meanwhile was just so damn standard and boring that it all felt so bland.
***** 'Operation: Anchorage' is brilliant. It has a far more convincing atmosphere than 'Mothership Zeta', and 'Broken Steel'. It even has a better atmosphere than 'The Pitt'. You just don't like that it's constrained, but that is what makes it so good.
Man you sound just like a ghoul! Love your videos and I am looking forward to your Skyrim series. Any idea what your first video for the game might be once its out? Your perfect character vid helped me a ton in Fallout 3. Thanks!
Yes. Rarest gun in the game. Keep it, it's the strongest energy pistol in Fallout 3. Ammo is rare and it can only be repaired with the alien blaster or merchants.
I understand. I usually don't use melee either, unless I'm in a pinch (like none of my weapons will break through the enemy's armor or I'm nearby and low on health). Though, sometimes, it can be VERY satisfying to get the drop on your oponent with a weapon like Oh, Baby! in New Vegas, especially if you use the Bloody Mess perk. Mwahahaha...
Ah, Mothership Zeta. I still use the Atomic Pulverizer and the MPLX Novasurge in my endgame loadouts. Pistols that can gib Deathclaws are right up my alley.
Great weapon guide thanks for doing the videos.. So many new guides, ive not played the play since 2009.. the big question for me was which order do i download the DLC.. So ive got Broken Steel, Look out Point & mother ship so far.. thanks
I love the pitt dlc its has cool weapons and armor its more wear and tear than most armor like theirs pieces of hazmat gear worn by most raiders there.
@piemonkey321 you can do it that way....or if you dont wish to wait you can use modio's download a game save .....please note that this route isn't the most honorable one but it'll get you what you want
Great video in my own opinion i think part two was better because in part 1 u should have covered Mothership Zeta then The Pitt and finally BS or PL. But this was very helpful thanks your fan 508legoman
@Linkthe1st Yea, it wastes alot of health if you have little, and it kinda doesint prepare you when your walking and a raider party ambushes you. -_- dont ask :P
...i wish it DID give you 2 pulverizers, I mean it would be good to have a backup copy. Unfortunately, the 2 guns sitting on the shelf are 1 Pulverizer(unique) and 1 Atomizer (common).
What about 'The Dismemberer' the unique axe found in 'Point Lookout' that can be obtained after completing Plik's Safari. It has a base 25 damage and has a chance of degrading the attacker to a puddle of gore like the Bloody Mess perk.
After you complete it you basically can't get any exept the Samurais sword by killing him (though he leaves the ship after a while so you have to be quick.
When I played mother ship zeta I forgot General Chases overcoat but got all weapons so I had to do it all over again, after I got the overcoat I realized I forgot all the weapons.
I think it would be noteworthy at the least to make a basic guide to ammunition throughout games. For example, guns with limited ammunition, easy ways to acquire regular ammunition, all of the like. Obviously it's too late to do one of these for Fallout 3 or New Vegas as they've been out so long, but when 4 comes you should consider it ^_^
for all you people who hate doing alot of work....there is a second way to get the blackwater rifle ....you want to know how ? ...reverse the quest and find the abandoned pipe and plain and simple
@Linkthe1st hes right but you shpuld have added at least the dismemebrer Its a good way to not waste ammo and see some gore I use it and my melee is like 54

The Point Lookout DLC was made specifically to be much harder than the others. You're supposed to be fucking scared of those bitches.
it wasn't really hard but very time consuming, you would think that they would just be like raiders
I know right you are a God in the base game every other DLC but that one you just die
i fucking love point lookout idk what ur talking about. their rifles don't do shit to my power armour.
Nate Witecki I liked the challenge of point lookout and its fun to me at least
There is a samurai sword in mother ship beta
I love the artwork of this game, the mplx novasurge just looks amazing, the tubes and pressure containers just go to show how much thought went into making it.
Did he forget about the captains sidearm?
Anyone else have a flash of nostalgia and end up here a decade later?
@EddieLolz3r
Damage ratings for weapons are not only based on weapon condition, but also your corresponding gun skill.
In the case of the Backwater Riffle you have to have a 100 small guns skill to do the maximum amount of damage possible.
Point Lookout was my favorite dlc besides Broken Steel.
i hated point lookout

I know all of this, but I love watching these guides either way. So well made.
i now know everything i need to about fallout's unique weapons now that i watched your guides. keep up the good work.
@Luffymon88
No, you can get LEVER ACTION riffles from enemies.
You get the BackWater Riffle by the means described in the video.
Who the fuck figured out how to get the backwater rifle? Who ever found this out is a genius. Or used a prima guide lol
Flyboy™ When i first played the dlc i looked at everything, found a terminal with a dead guy in a bath tub. I thought it'd be something about that, but then it detailed a spy job.
+Flyboy™
its a quest so it technically tells you how to get the gun
Flyboy™ I found the quest and got the rifle without using guides.
CoffeeMugBudzRECAFFINATED Its one of the coolest quests in fallout 3 imo
At 3:09, Since I'm a fan of RWBY, i can't but help think of Yang Xiao Long when you said that.
Keep in mind that this video is not new, but yes the DLC is on steam. However, you need to remember that Steam DLC only works with the steam version of the base game. So you can't say mix a hard copy of FO3 with DLC bought on steam.
2:22 Holy shit, how do people figure out those kind of things?
R. Rain Because its detailed in the quest, If it wasn't, I'd expect the gun to do triple the damage. lol
Carson Casler Oh well, I guess I'm just dumb then.
+Carson Casler I still think Lincolns repeater is better
+Brandon Knorr it is I think they gave it to US president you would think it would be better than the one they gave hillbillies
They all have markers and are told to you. Also the safety deposit box is kinda common sense
out of every intro, you make by far the best!
strife i just wanted to say thank you for these guides they proved invaluable to me while playing the game
William thank you so much for these guides. they made fallout 3 so much more fun!!
!
Weather you like it or not my pronunciation of lever is is acceptable and accurate.
a fully repaired destabilizer is very effective against deathclaws
Wow, DLC was a new concept in 2010
But good dlc, hours of enjoyment, not what we have as "dlc" 😂
+Renny Ren 2008*

I suppose I should have called it the "DLC Gun Guide", since I chose to omit melee weapons for the most part.
the editing in the intro alone makes me want to give this a thumbs up
I agree I need more "flem" (the longer I talked the more I lost the voice) but "static" is a bit of an odd term. Could you please clarify?
In this video he left out 5 rare weapons which are The Dismemberer a special axe you get for completing the "safari" in Point Lookout while the other weapon is the Ritual Knife which is what was used to cut your head open. dude u rock. ur videos are simple and easy to understand. thx for the guide.
thank you for this guides soooo much!!!!! i now have all the weapons included in your guides =)

Just so you know, the ripper, and jack are also automatic melee weapons. The one from the Pitt isn't the only one.
thanks i never would have found half without you
You can get all unique weapons in Zeta. You are just limited by your maximum carry weight.
the backwater rifle is a unique version of the lever action rifle, a weapon only found at point lookout
@rnusiclover anchorage and broken steel are the only 2 DLCs that are really useful if your not interested in a full GOTY. Anchorage gives you a very good early start as it can be done at level 1 and broken steel gives you level 30 cap which is pritty balls and extends main game.
i missed ALL the unique zeta weapons besides ones from the cryogenically frozen dudes, and the captains sidearm, and the dronecannon ex-b.
Even though reality doesn't apply to games, I still can't shake the saying "don't bring a knife to a gun fight".
and the "dismemberer" wich does more dmg than normal axes and has a chance of 80% to sever all of an enemys limbs when killed as well as restoring 5 action points.
I love these vids man. You explain them well.
@16woozi
I would not have covered all those steps if they could be avoided.
The exact same thing happened to me. The reason is you have not listened to the note that you received earlier and you just walked their. Just listen to the note and it will give you the option.

In broken steel you can find the alien blaster in this armory on the mobile platform thing so potentialy you can get 2 of them
The MPLX Novasurge was always my favorite weapon in the game since the release of Mothership Zeta
I have game of the year and the first thing i love about is when u get to level 30 u can get this perk when u just explode into a nuke when hp is -30
well when u go there all ur weapons and armor will be gone but after u leave the cell and explore a bit u will find a container with all ur items so brind what ever u want
Subscribed, best guides i've ever seen.
or just walk around over weight, it feels like forever while you walk, but if you change your view it feels quicker and its more fun to view
@Novaspawn711 its pretty powerful, but the fact that it uses 10mm ammunition is just glorious
Holy chocolate! That ghoul voice is amazing! You should be on of the ghoul voice actor
@TheJackal137
We all make mistakes, I'll admit I referenced some bad info there.
Nice video! Voice acting is on-point to me!
I would also suggest grabbing all the alien epoxy you can it repairs you weapons
Uh do you mean by dark; creepy, depressing, or literally hard to see?
i always do mothership zeta 3rd meaning after i get the metal blaster and the unbreakable power armor. btw you can go back to mothership zeta but only the bridge to get alien ammo daily (the alien are still dead) i forget the kid's name but she gives you some or the alien repair gel.
That guy who was talking at the first part was a member of the brotherhood of steel
My favorite doc was operation Anchorage
How is he trolling?
***** hmm.. I always thought that operation anchorage was the worst. Sure mothership zeta was a little goofy, but enjoyable. Anchorage meanwhile was just so damn standard and boring that it all felt so bland.

Larry Minnier Honestly their all very good. I played them all more than once and only got bored of playing point lookout.
There is also a unique shock baton called the electro-supressor.
@ps3man1998
Alien Power Sources, I believe.
Once you've looted it all, you've looted it all.

getting the backwater rifle sounds like a complicated bank robbery movie
@piemonkey321 you can do it that way....or if you dont wish to wait you can use modio's download a game save .....please note that this route isn't the most honorable one but it'll get you what you want
Your ghoul acting Is great
Me too...... You may still go back and get them still maybe
Great video in my own opinion i think part two was better because in part 1 u should have covered Mothership Zeta then The Pitt and finally BS or PL. But this was very helpful thanks
your fan

@Linkthe1st Yea, it wastes alot of health if you have little, and it kinda doesint prepare you when your walking and a raider party ambushes you. -_- dont ask :P

After you complete it you basically can't get any exept the Samurais sword by killing him (though he leaves the ship after a while so you have to be quick.
By the way if you enter one of the rooms of the hotel at 2:00 there's the mask of Pint sized Slasher. I'm probably gonna make a video about it.
Amazing voice at the end loved it
I know of your New Vegas Weapon Guides, but do you have the DLC weapon guides for New Vegas?
did you mention the oporation anchoidge glitch in your last reveiw, and the hailys hardware glitch would have been ideal, but great vid and thumbs up
When I played mother ship zeta I forgot General Chases overcoat but got all weapons so I had to do it all over again, after I got the overcoat I realized I forgot all the weapons.
I think it would be noteworthy at the least to make a basic guide to ammunition throughout games. For example, guns with limited ammunition, easy ways to acquire regular ammunition, all of the like. Actually at 7:05, the Destabilizer does more damage than the distintegrator.
Perfect ghoul voice, maybe a bit more raspy, but if you were in Fallout 4 it would be perfect.
for all you people who hate doing alot of work....there is a second way to get the blackwater rifle
....you want to know how ? ...reverse the quest and find the abandoned pipe and plain and simple
Was there a heavy drone cannon too? I thought I found one but I'm too lazy to back to my old game and chick lol
@Linkthe1st hes right but you shpuld have added at least the dismemebrer Its a good way to not waste ammo and see some gore I use it and my melee is like 54
@AnonymousShadow0
Did you even read what I said?
"for the most part"
that means nearly all of the time.
also mother ship had samurie sword and paulsons revolver but i know you said those are all the wepaons that are even worth mentioning paulsons revolver is pretty good i think
@aa130552 I think he didn't include it because you will find it by doing what the quest says.
I like the ghoul voice XD. I thought the ghouls in FO3 sounded a little more hoarse, but it had me convinced.
