Before the first FO3 DLCs came out, you couldn't send Fawkes or Charon (I think) into the room to activate the purifier. When they did come out, however, new dialogue was added for Fawkes where he suggests he goes and does it instead since radiation has zero effect on him, and thus no lives have to be sacrificed.

You missed the fact that Harkness can gift you a plasma rifle and Zimmer can gift you an implant. Edit: The Republic of Dave quest can also gift you Ol'Painless. In retrospect, you made Raven Rock far harder than it needed to be armed only with a Mesmetron :-)
On top of that. Agatha can give you a the unique Magnum if you barter check her. Not as reliable or fast as Ol' Painless and A3-21's rifle but I felt it was worth mentioning.
You can talk a kid in little lamp light to give you his Lazer whaffel I think that's how its spelled but you can get him to gift it to you by a speech check
fact: the rileys rangers mission can be done in this challenge because when you are done helping the rangers they will ask whether you want combat armour or a minigun
I don't know if you can do it though....because you need to fix the elevator to get the Riley's Rangers down to the lower level & you need a part from a protectron to do it....(Unless there's a repair or intelligence check on the Elevator?)

Ghouls are not immune to radiation, though the games don't make that clear enough. Basically, they're near-undead because of rads to start: Further rads won't kill them, but it *will* cause brain damage, and cause them to go feral.
yes but radiation makes ghouls go crazy over a certain period. thats why feral ghouls even exist. feral ghouls are the humans who didn't get to shelter after the bombs dropped. while normal ghouls are the ones who hid in places like tunnels and buildings but still got irradiated and ghoulified.
If you know how to set up crowd control on twitch, a "can you beat fallout with only what chat gives you" could be fun. They could use channel points to give you weapons, ammo, and other supplies. Or to spawn enemies

If you are looking for new ideas, I’d be very interested in a lock pick only run, I myself tried it in new Vegas and it’s actually a bit more challenging than I expected, the rules I use are only from safes and if the room is only lootable via lock pick then I can take anything from said room

I fully thought you'd go and complete the Replicated man in Rivet City. You can just speak to loads of people who will "gift" you with the holotapes all the way through. Then you could've "gifted" Harkness back his memories as A3-21 and in turn he'll thank you with his Plasma Rifle and ammo!
If you have Brokened Steal installed Charon has near infinite health due to it multiplying instead of adding. No idea if thats just PS3 and after a certain level though
Technically the stuff you get from the outcasts in the operation anchorage DLC, the stash of power armor and stuff is a gift from McGraw. So that's big brain right out of the vault
Maybe? Super-Duper Mart would have been a pain, even with Ant's Sting, due to all the Raiders in a tight space, at least one of whom I've seen spawn weilding a Chinese Assault Rifle or a Hunting Rifle. The EXP would have been decent, but the ammo and healing items likely wouldn't have been worth all the risk to get them, the caps would have been worthless, and the Repellent Stick is useless, as far as I'm aware
Initially thought so but alot of that has you going and grabbing stuff for Moira and I was extra strict and didn't let myself even pick up anything that wasn't a gift or reward
I love how many hundreds of ways there are to play and beat Fallout. Some ways are ridiculous and just endlessly frustrating. But this method actually makes sense. If you had no money, you'd just work for what you needed. Loved the video.

There's one slight problem: The Boomers. They could accidentally shell them and kill them. It happened before in one of Nerbit's videos where Victor was chasing him and got completely deleted by a shell, dying in a single hit.
