Beautiful truck! I love it when they restore them to the original classic look with stock visors and big ass Grover horns on the roof. Not a big fan of huge drop visors, train horns and 8" stacks on the classics, but that's just my taste.
same here, i do prefer the stock bumpers on kw's and petes, have always thought the texas square bumpers are just a plain blank piece of ugly, however that is a super nice ole kw
What a beautiful KW! I can tell you some "K" stories, KTA & KTTA. It was always wise to have several other trucks around to make money to pay for the fuel and tires, but nothing out there yanked a monster load over the mountains like a K
Years ago I was a truck mechanic and spent the last few years of that working at a Kenworth dealership. Always loved W9s and Peterbilts. I worked on a lot of W900Ls, and right before I left there I got to work on and road test an A model long hood. Totally different trucks. The Ls are nice, but IMO nothing compared to the A model as far as the classic look. I hope I never see the day that these classics are taken off the road.
It’s a different sound much don’t know. I believe it’s a powerhouse KTA CUMMINS! Rare old motor. These rigs mostly come with 3406 CAT, 3408 CAT (my favorite in this truck and my ‘79 W900A has one in it) Detroit 8v92, ummm I don’t know much else. Oh, Big Cam Cummins. Another great old motor that comes in this rig. Almost any old motor basically. He could of put this one in. Be very cool if this was original engine
I'm old School My Favorite truck is the original Kenworth W900A Model All original this Truck is so beautiful It's Real owner operator Symbol wayy before today's Cocky drivers this was A Sign of Freedom and Travel fun and Craftsmanship
Like usual, just trying to do yer thing, and some annoying freightliner daycab or some impatient 4wheelers gotta be hanging around. I80 in PA sure is pretty in the fall. (Yes,of course the Kdub is awesome)
When trucks were made without def fluid they were better trucks than they are today with the def fluid. I think they seem to last longer and had fewer trouble than they do today. So sorry for the def fluid having to be added to the engine of today’s truck engine. Does the train engine have def fluid and all the off-rd. Engines running have def fluid in them ? For as I know they don’t have any. Have a good day . Can someone please answer my question?
Yea nice for shows. If you have to put to work it’s a different story …. A nightmare to run out of New Jersey ?? Never make it. Even tractor solo. Haa.
When I collect my Mega Millions check on Monday, I'll be buying this truck on Tuesday !

I’m a Peterbilt guy…but there’s nothing cooler than an old A model KW! 😎 Badass!
If I had a truck like that I would never come home.

No Def was used in the making of this video!
Why the wrong air cleaners??? Just dont look as good as the orginals.

Wow that is one absolutely sexy rig!!! I love the late-70's-early-80's era W900's
Incredible. That build gives a KW fanatic something to dream about, aspire to.

Twin turbocharged variable timed K series Cummins with steel pistons
KTA 19 Liters
Not sure if it’s just me but sounds like that clutch was slipping bad when leaned into it.
I thought I heard some slip too
I heard it too, sounded almost like an automatic. That sucks, expensive job on that baby. That KTA just twists too hard I guess.
so beautiful truck
That’s beautiful!
GOD DAMN!! WHAT A KICKASS, SICK, EPIC KWHOPPER!! LOVE THE WAY IT PULLS AWAY FROM THAT COOKIE CUTTER FREIGHTLINER!! WHAT AN AWESOME VIDEO!!

They waved when they passed me 🤣🤣
That 1150 is wanting to eat .
Does she have the 400 big cam, 425 cat, or the 380 cat, I had a k100 1980 with the 380 and she was sweet.
