Loved Vinnie at Leeds, he always, and I mean always had time for the mascots and the disabled fans, made a special day for so many people... I still fondly remember him tackling a young mascot who was on his way to 'score' a goal - made the youngsters day even more memorable with shouts of 'Penalty' from the crowd.
I remember him tripping a mascot up when he was dribbling the ball and he grabbed him by the collar so he didn’t fall over. The crowd started chanting “you dirty bas***d”. Vinnie was like who me ? No not me. It was bloody hilarious. Great guy 😂👍
I still remember going in to the local barbers, Malcolm's, and getting the Vinnie cut, and feeling like the coolest kid in school on Monday. On on on Vinnie!
Total respect to Vinnie Top,top gentleman he was fantastic for us i remember he said when Howard Wilkinson didn't want him anymore he was gutted he should've stayed on for another season 🙏. Vinnie your LEEDS and you know you are keep fighting we all love Leeds marching on together 🦚🇮🇨🤍💛💙🫶🙏🤝
Leeds fans luv you Vinny. Never forgotten, even Wilko said big mistake letting Vinni go. He was great for us scored some great goals. West Ham away. Hull at home volley from 30 yards out just to make a few
I was at Newcastle first game 1989-90 but Vinnie was injured, pot on his foot. He was off the bench yelling, encouraging the others. Then mid week first home game v Boro he came on as sub. The look on his face as he came on with the Gelderd end shouting 'Vinnie, Vinnie..'. I love the bloke & always will 😁
As I recall he came on with 10 minutes to go and us losing 1-0.Chased the ball like a 10 year old, desperate to impressed.Pressed the defenders playing the ball around the back and caused own goal. What he lacked in skill he made up for with commitment.Just an exceptional individual and I was genuinely upset when HW ditched him for Premier League blandness.
I remember the vinnie haircut everyone was getting when he was at leeds the V .... lol it was horrid, but all the kids had it. Thanks, Vinnie, for your time at leeds, also one of the best goals i have seen you score at Elland Road
I remember West Ham (old ground) away and he scored a diving header. In the seats leaning over at W.Ham giving it.."maybe it's because I'm a Londoner that I love Leeds Utd"....! An old acquaintance Dean Blackwell played for them.Got us tickets for our games against them, brilliant. The "old days". M.O.T. Cockney Whites..
I couldn’t believe wilko signed viinnie. We’d just come back from holiday and the taxi driver told me. I thought it was a wind up How wrong was I. He is a true legend and gent ! He would hand out cakes etc to the disabled supporters while doing what he does best on the pitch! Alaw
Vinnie signed for Leeds a bit before my time, but what a guy. Not sure if there was a better fit than the Juggernaut playing for Dirty dirty Leeds. Still seems somewhat surreal but what a legend even if he wasn’t at Leeds that long 💪💛💙🤍
I think with the London clubs, the big clubs are big and the small clubs are small and they only have a connection to a certain area. With Leeds it's a big club in a big city but with that sense of community you get with a small club.
But did he? He got no red cards and only 2 yellows that season so he couldn't have been that dirty. Strachan told him we don't want you here to kill people, we need you on the field, not getting sent off or suspended.
We love Vinnie Leeds Leeds Leeds great times

Some of Vinnie's goals in that '89/90 season for Leeds were stunners!
Class at Leeds - one of the only players who when he came back with another team always got applauded and never got any stick. MOT
Always remember Vinnie fondly. He set a trend off for all the kids with the V shape shaved on back of his head lol.

I knew someone who got it on the day he left for Sheffield United.
Remember Vinnie coming to Sandown Racecourse. I worked in the members restaurant. He was always last to leave and ended up with a sing song.
I remember West Ham (old ground) away and he scored a diving header.

We won 4-3 and I was in the kop . Great day at the footie
Class act, all leeds aren’t we? Great servant to leeds United and leeds as a city for that matter. Deserves a knighthood for everything but his acting
Mot
Vinny was actually alright at acting considering he was playing football with borrowed braincells 🤩

Had to chuckle one year vinnie had the old leeds badge tattoo on his leg & Jimmy greaves said if he played for Liverpool he'd have em all over 😂😂😂mot
Vinnie Hero
M.O.T Vinnie
I believe wilko regretted getting rid. I was really young but how could I forget
Vinnie Jones playing for leeds was a great time.... Chris Evans is still a total prick
ALAW
Barbers loved him
Was a decent player at Chelsea but probably a nightmare for the manager and the blues were slowly on the up around then 🔵
I think the reason why Vinne fit into Leeds so well was he played the old Leeds way typical dirty Leeds way and we loved him for it MOT
Vinnie was much more than that! He scored some great goals for us and played the best football of his career at Elland Road. MOT

@@dannybowden5296 he toned his tacking down to what he use to do at Wimbledon when he came to Leeds but he still dealt it out

playing BOM in ROTFS must have been the all time low
What’s with the silly hats?
I love vinny but lost so much respect for him when he pushed the jab onto the public
Many of us were fooled initially..never never again... Shame we can all make a mistake or two or three🤔
