My favorite racket is the Ryuga 1, it is impossible for me to play with another racket, and my next change of rackets will be with the Ryuga Metallic. I'm very excited to use it, because I think that if there is a more powerful and aggressive racket, it is the Ryuga Metallic.
i agree with you. this is really the most "Powerful" racket i've used. but i feel like there is a pre-requisite to note. which is that it requires more time to prepare and swing. so that's good for a full smash but not so good for a drive or any counter attack.
I just bought the Ryuga Metallic 4UG5 strung with 66F at 26 lbs. Maybe because my first ever racket was the Astrox 99 Pro so I can handle the heaviness of this racket. I do think it is harder to defend when I’m using it, but is not so bad.
yes you are probably right. You started off with really difficult rackets man. haha. but... different strokes for different folks. if it works for you, enjoy it!
I have try this racket and its the best racket i ever use. I guess this racket just suit my playstyle. I had tried Ryuga Pro II, that's is the most difficult racket to play. For me, Ryuga Thruster metallic is far more better racket than Ryuga Pro II in term of Power and control.
I have both the first generation Ryuga and second generation. The first generation is quite bit heavier and the performance is impressive of the first one but both is not good for defence, fast play and back hand but for smash, it's amazing ❤.. your Review about the racket is perfectly correct 👍
as someone whos used z force 1and use astrox 99 pro. this seems appealing. but ive tried other ryuga rackets and they were nice to play but personally felt the lack of feeling. maybe because its how victor rackets are compared to yonex. i may give this ryuga a shot. I play doubles mainly but i just enjoy sledge hammer rackets. personally havent had much problems with speed.
Between the 2, the Thruster Ryuga M comes in head-heavier (31.6cm) compared to the Astrox 99 Pro (30.5cm). Of course, there are other factors at play - overall racket length, % of frame recessed (a more aerodynamic racket will feel switfter). A 3U 99P must feel like a sledgehammer!!
@@MoreThanASwing 3U does feel weighted but it's not stiff like a ZF2. The 99p have a bit of flex so it's not so bad. Good for long rally and to cut angles with power.
yes agreed. but even the top athletes, with the best techniques and condition, dont blind choose the heaviest racket. truth is, there is always a trade off. not every player has the same strategy to win.
Happy that you covered this Thruster Ryuga Metallic! I agree that it takes time adjust but im happy I was patient and loved it overtime 😙
Glad you like it. Are you enjoying the smashes…? Haha.
@@MoreThanASwing smash are satisfying ! haha but when i miss it, not so much😅😂haha
@@kngzPRJK hahaha. practice makes perfect!
Nice, thts exactly wht im looking for, a racket i can barely use ❤
hahaha. not for everyone.
but some people will like it.

Have you ever tried the OG armortec 900 power? How do you compare this racket to 900 power?
Really appreciate the efforts you put in each and every video. Please keep it up.! 😄
thank you thank you. really appreciate the affirmation. :)

I cant believe the first gen is even heavier.
it would be so difficult to use.

I'm glad you can understand my honest opinion, sieve through the opinion, and understand that this is still a good racket (just not for me).
How does that compare to 99 Pro ? I use a 3U 99P

Is it heavier than the first gen? That one had a hollow feel to it
Oh. I haven’t tried the first gen…
3U is less sluggish, did he get the 4U, cuz i have 4U and for me the defence was pretty good but sluggish...
interesting opinion. Its difficult to understand how it can be pretty good but sluggish.
If its sluggish, i thought it should be pretty bad. no?
Agreed 👍
people need to learn that if you wanna smash fast and heavy, YOU need to be able to swing and not the racket lol

which string would you highly recommended for the best smashing and control ?
Honestly, i havent tried too many strings.
But i had a good experience with BG66 Ultimax and Aerobite.
destroyer. Destroy the owner's hand
Hahaha… it’s not THATTTT bad. Just need time to adapt…
Maybe try going to the gym 😂jkjk
