Im confused between nanospeed nextage vs astrox nextage vs astrox 99 tour please help
So is it better then the astrox 100zz in any way
The expert technique can only be done on feather shuttles. Not possible with nylon shuttles
Have you ever tried the OG armortec 900 power? How do you compare this racket to 900 power?
If you like exbolt 63, you might like exbolt 68. Exbolt 65 is more for those who enjoy control strings but want more repulsion. ( if you come from standard aerobite but dont often do slices this string maybe better siuted to you( i know some players enjoy aerobite for what its nice feel more than because they do slices)) Exbolt 65 from my experience is a “make it or break it string” you either like it or hate it. Theres no in between. I havent tried exbolt 68 because personally i love thin strings more than thicker.
that last scene... lol
Thank you!
You're welcome!
Please review the thruster ryuga 2 td, I have seen no one talk about it 🥹
Victor releases a new racket every other month, it can be quite an exercise to follow! But we'll see if we can get our hands on one!
@ thanks a lot sir, if you do get your hands on one of those please make a review ♥️
thank you so much for knowledge, now I can practice more for expert and advance technic.

Hi can you review the jpx 7 fury?
We'll try our best to get our hands on one!
Hey Joel can you make a review video on Lining Halbertec 6000?
The 6000 series are hard to come by in Singapore but we'll try! Shhhh spoiler alert - we're currently reviewing the Halbertec 9000.
how do they rate on the control parameter…in which one is the control/net play best…how does it compare to aerobite boost
In our opinion - the Exbolt 68 had the most "bite". It has the coarsest string, and so will hold onto the shuttle longer than thinner/smoother strings. Naturally, the Exbolt 63 is the thinnest and also the smoothest string, so it rates lower for control. Aerobite boost is a mix of control and durability because of its unique mix of a thin/smooth string Aerosonic String, paired with a thicker/coarser high-intensity nylon multifilament core with a Vectran super fiber and a polyurethane coated string. We're not fans of the aerobite boost because the thinner Aerobite cross strings will most definitely snap quicker than the main strings, PLUS the thinner string will constantly be cutting the main strings, resulting in an easy snap.
@ thanks for the reply…i am an intermediate recreational player…i think i will go with the Exbolt 68, hoping to get a good balance of power and control
review Yonex astrox 99 Pro please
We'll do our best! Thanks for your suggestion :)

Hahaha why not right!
What Yonex racket is that white one?? Also which shoes?
I was using the Yonex Nanoflare Nextage in 4U. Shoes are the Yonex Eclipsion Z3, in the new white/gold colourway!
First one is everyone needs to know
How does the Mizuno Wave Claw 3 compare to the Yonex Eclipsion Z3 or 65Z3 in detail?
The Mizuno Wave Claw 3 has a wider toe box and slimmer overall profile - think Yonex Aerus (lightweight and fast) but with a wider toe box. It is doesn't have the carbon plating that the Eclipsion Z3 or 65Z3 have, so it is also cheaper. The Yonex Eclipsion will feel more stable and hug the feet better - albeit being a lot heavier. The 65Z3 is a good all-rounder, but we often found the soles wearing out quicker, and its a bit of a "jack of all trades, master of none" pair of shoes. Verdict: choose the Mizuno WC3 if you're on a budget, but want a high performing shoes thats quick and suits regular-to-wide feet.
@ ohh okay, thanks!!
@@MoreThanASwing Which pair will be more durable between the eclipsion z3 and the wave claw 3? I'm very confused between these two pairs.
First
How does that compare to 99 Pro ? I use a 3U 99P
Between the 2, the Thruster Ryuga M comes in head-heavier (31.6cm) compared to the Astrox 99 Pro (30.5cm). Of course, there are other factors at play - overall racket length, % of frame recessed (a more aerodynamic racket will feel switfter). A 3U 99P must feel like a sledgehammer!!
@@MoreThanASwing 3U does feel weighted but it's not stiff like a ZF2. The 99p have a bit of flex so it's not so bad. Good for long rally and to cut angles with power.
Nextage Vs 1000 play for an intermediate singles player which one would you recommend.
The Nextage definitely comes with more features and technologies than a play racket. We would say the Nextage comes closer to a Tour model. The key difference is Nextage rackets are more user-friendly as compared to the Pro/Tour models. Nextage rackets typically have a medium flex, offering a softer feel, whereas Tour models are stiffer, providing more power.
Is that red shoe in the background the Yonex Velo 100’s? I have the Velo 100 and it looks so similar to the one in the background. Could you do a review about it?
Niceee 👏🏻
Exbolt 68 strung at 26x28 is it good for 77play? Or bcs thicker string it should strung higher?
There is no right or wrong answers with tension - there are equal pros and cons for going higher or lower. The most important thing is to choose a tension that best fits your playstyle. Going higher will demand a lot more from you - which sometimes can be a bad thing (Snaps easily. I also strained my shoulder once when I played with a high tension racket). So it really depends, but go with your gut feel!
A good rule of thumb: Beginners: Under 24lbs Club/Social players: 25-26lbs Advanced/Athletes: 28 and above
Have you tried the wave claw Neo 2s? Do you think the soles are softer and have more cushioning with the Neo 2s?
I think the Wave Claw has more cushion than the Neo... I feel more protected and supported with the Claw. but the Neo feels more lean and quick.
@@MoreThanASwing Thank you replying! Last couple of questions 😅Is the claw 3 pair that you have 3E? And would you say it has a wider fit in the forefoot compared to the 65z's? My feet felt tight around the forefoot of the 65z's so I'm confused on whether to get 3E or 4E
@@amirrahman6921 Just had a look and it doesn't state if it is 3E or 4E. Instead - there is a "Wide" sticker on the shoebox, so I'm inclined to believe it is a 4E version! And you are right, the 65Z3s are narrower around the forefoot. Alternatively - if you are thinking of sticking to the 65Z series - they offer them in 'Wide' versions as well!
@@MoreThanASwing Oh no, that's very confusing. In Japan it seems like Wide is 4E (on Mizuno's japan website) but the shoes sold in Taiwan have a Wide sticker with a picture with a blue foot - which are 3E 🙃. Is there anyway you'd be able to confirm if your shoes are 4E?
I've got a feeling that your colour way doesn't exist in a 4E and that the blue foot refers to 3E
Can you do like all type of backhand shots; drive, clear, push, and drop or slice
Hey, thank you for your suggestion, we will consider these for our future videos. :)
I usually string my rackets at 29lbs of tension, is the Exbolt 63 suitable to be strung at that tension?
25mainx27cross Or 26main28cross
The term suitable might be subjective and difficult to define. The string can definitely withstand the high tension. However, at higher tension, it will be more prone to snapping.
@ i’m mainly worried about the string cutting into the racket (through the grommets).. will that be an issue? I don’t mind about snapping
Nice video ❤️
Thank you!
Lets go u posted another video like this
We're glad you enjoyed it! We listen to you guys :)
What is the badminton racquet that you're using here?
That depends... haha. I was using nanoflare nextage in the court. and in the studio, i was using a Maxx racket. :)
@@MoreThanASwing got it! I'm also using Nanoflare Nextage and I love how it's so well-balanced.
How to be more aggressive at the net and in mid court, without hitting the shuttlecock out the back. Please. 🙏🏿
At the net, it helps to be ready by having your racket up and ready to take the shot. At the net and towards the front, speed is key - so you want to take quick shots to force an error, instead of pulling back and executing a full swing. While powerful, a full swing takes more time, and you might not be able to take the shot while the shuttle is at its highest position.
Great tutorial, if I can suggest I think it will help if you breakdown each specific tips at each level (elbow up, left hand raised etc.)
We're taking your feedback on board, Miguel! We'll try to balance it out - as we're also mindful not to make it draggy. The most ideal way for stroke correction might be to find a coach like MTAS academy!
damn.
yeaaaaaaaaaa
I'm at an intermediate level and struggling to break through to an advanced one 😂😂😂
You are not alone, @chanvnk! Its part and parcel of the learning process. We'd recommend practice, or training with a coach to help you progress effectively!
I play my easier games with low tension and tougher opponents with high tension. Keeps my shoulder in place
Wise choice Veejay!
Bro pls review felet eighty8 next 🙌🏻

Bro pls pls review felet eigty8 next🙏
Thank you for the suggestion. We have a couple of product reviews lined up. hopefully Felet can send us the racket. :)
Bro pls review felet eighty8
How would you compare it to the nanoflare nextage in terms of all those rating?
In terms of the balance, it can be pretty similar. But the key difference can be noticed from the feeling when the racket makes contact with the shuttle. Nextage feels a little more "hollow".
I'm having a really hard time choosing the right size for this shoe. When I use the Mizuno guide, it suggests going down 2 to 3 sizes. However, when I check the cm measurement in my other shoes, it indicates my regular size... hmm.. I like that mizuno is abit wider, as i aswell have wider feet.
hey, i have a wider feet too. and mizuno fits me really well. what works for me may not work for you. but i always use "cm" or "japan" size with Mizuno. it always, always work. hope you find the right size!
True
yep. :)))
Its fragile af. Handle with care.
Yeah. Mine broke really easily as well. Never had a racket that fragile. Hit my calf with it and that was enough to snap the frame... Like my fatty calf wtf.
oh no. :,( i'll be careful about it.
Im surprised you get over 300mm for balance point, thats like head heavy territory for me. Oh that run at the start did gave me abit of a jump scare haha
actually, i measure it with strings on and with grip on. but i try my best to keep it consistent. tbh, you can easily change the balance point of the racket by changing the way you tie your grip.
@MoreThanASwing ahh i see, probably because of my thicker grips, my measurement are always abit off.
@@iodineclip You are definitely right, it does affect measurements. But it is also a neat trick at times! If a racket feels too head heavy, adding an additional overgrip does help with balancing out the head-heaviness. We love to experiment and find out what works best for our playstyles!
what happend to volant

nice

Hi Joel, another great video. I have been trying out rackets and bought the yonex nanoflare 1000z. I started playing with a club which plays with feathers which I used to before and found the I could not get the power out of my shots as I could before and also my arm stared hurting alot, near the bicep area. Then I played in another club where they were playing with plastics, and all my shots were great my smash came back, all my drops were perfect and drives too, also no pain This has really confused me, as I thought playing with feather should be easier. Don't know if you guys can shed some light on the matter? Would be much appreciated. Thanks Ajay
There's not enough data here for me to make an accurate assessment. but here's one hypothesis. The NF1000z has quite a small sweetspot. perhaps it took time for you to get used to it. and once you got used to it, your estimation got better. to test this theory. try staying with feather shuttlecock for a month.
@MoreThanASwing Thank you so much Joel, much appreciated, will try your suggestion and see how it goes.
@@soundzgood6775 You are most welcome!
Which racket are you using?
in this video, i was using the Mizuno JPX Reserve Edition. cool right?
Can you explain the “late backhand reverse cross court slice” , I can like hit it but not enough power to go over
wow. thats... a mouthful. watch out for our upcoming video. i will be covering dropshot soon. is that what you were referring to?
Wow best badminton tutorial on youtube, I really liked the intro, also can you make a video on singles and how to play better
interesting suggestion. yes, we will queue that. :)
in terms of durability and affordability, what shuttle would you recommend?
that depends on the region you are from and whats available to you actually. most shuttles come from the same few factories actually. so where are you from?
@@MoreThanASwingsorry for hijacking this thread a bit. I'm also a little curious. I'm from the Philippines (which is in the southeast asia). Would you have some recommendations for good shuttlecocks that offer a good balance between price and durability? In terms of skill level of playing group, our group consists of beginner - lower intermediate players.
@@MoreThanASwinglike what shuttles?
An umpire told me coaches share your philosophy. Unfortunately, some parents think it is a waste of private lesson time to coach their children about court etiquette. Private lessons are expensive, so coaches should only focus on skills. As an umpire, he tells players they are losing points because the parents are making line calls during tournaments. That is one of the examples.
Culturally, we are only in the beginning stages of this shift. the shift to pay attention to the being more than the doing. Its a good start but a long way to go.
