- Who said you need an expensive boat. This piece of junk costs less than $2,000 to buy and was rebuilt for a total cost of $2500. This is my son's first boat and we both learnt so much about the pleasures of building and owning a little tinny.
Great video mate..You don’t need to spend a fortune to catch fish.
For a boat with an electric motor and sounder, its crazy how cheap we built it for. It does the job.
Gday mate you dont need a 35 ,000 doller boat to catch a good feed ,i bought my boat for 2500 dollars completely stripped it sanded it back repainted it refiber glassed any bad spots fitted a new engine and now have a boat that is insured for 12500 , the motor will see me out and i know it isnt the flashiest or the fastest but with the gear like a radio and epirb ect i can go out with the big boys check out a sight return outdoors guy lives in townsville and look at what he catches in a small tinnie good video take care .

@@smallboatcaptain1968 Hi mate id say with motor about 10500 motor is the biggest outlay at around 9300 all up ,the reason i chose a fiberglass boat was i can glass well but i cant weld aluminium and even the clunkers down here are going for about 6000 with a johnston on the back .Mainly insured it for the motor and other electricals cant put my labour time on it as it would be heaps more basically a hobby this is my 5th resto but i managed to find second hand engines in good nick for those .
