I'm actually ok talking to the camera in a busy street where everyone is moving about and walking past, as most people are minding their own business. It's when there are lots of people sitting down that I feel a bit self conscious, as it feels like everyone is looking at you! Funnily enough, we've booked a kimono wearing as part of a tea ceremony in Kyoto when we visit Japan in January. I just assumed it would be my wife that wears it. Maybe it's for me too! Nice video! 🙂
Very beautiful kimono! The quality is stunning. I have seen only a few men wearing a kimono while in Kyoto. Many foreigners, as well. I have never worn one. I am tall (188 cm) so perhaps finding the correct size would be difficult? I enjoyed seeing children wearing kimono during 七五三。So cute!

Nice. Wife and I went to Japan 2x now and we contemplated wearing Kimonos at rental place. But it was on days where we were going to be spending only half day in each place so we would not be able to return them. But for sure next time I think this would be such a great honor to wear one and be unified with Japanese culture in some respects for the day.

that.s the Japan the tourists want to see, but at the same time they destroy it bcs they are too many….your vids always show Japan as we foreigners know it from Anime and Manga….🥰hopefully not too many foreigners come to find your hidden gem places,,,
