      I love your videos specifically because of the way you speak and explain. My issue with shoots is that if i take a few seconds to correct my form and load my hips,my release is way off (sideways from the rim)

    I would add. You need relax, the more comfortable you are in the game. The better you play. The shots you make in practice should be the same in the game. Problem is you are rush by the pressure of the defense, teammates and spectators. So calm, relax and shoot with confidence

    I'll add my two tips: Start off shooting very close (3-5 feet away) from the basket until you get your form down. don't go out further until it starts to get boring, you are making so many baskets. I see lots of hoopers start shooting 3 pointers in practice way too soon, in my opinion. Next, as you wind up for your shot, imagine the ball going through the hoop exactly in the center where you want it, then shoot the ball.

      Try pounding your last dribble harder so it "pops" back up to your hand and shot pocket. Lots of times a weak last dribble can make the pick up less clean.

    Can u tell me, why, i have 2 shooting form ?
    The first one, my shooting form almost like normal shooting form on basketball and thats 2 motion shot, but i got my range for that shooting form
    The second one is, my shooting form almost like Curry, from chest, and one motion, but i don't have any range with that shooting form, but i can hit deep range with dribble pull up, but if i stay and wait for the ball came, i cant get the range.
    Can u tell me why my shot is broken, is There a mistake in my shot base ? Or my guide hand ?, Cause i use my thumb to shoot the ball.

  • @Per_c06
    @Per_c06 5 років тому +1

    I've watched a lot of shooting videos and most have helped me become a top shooter. I can easily shoot 45/50 three pointers or make 75-94/100. However One thing i think most coaches fail to emphasis is muscle memory. I know sight is important but sometimes sight can be your enemy when taking the shot. Most players become nervous if they stare too long at the rim. Every player should know their court mechanics, like where the ring is located, how high the ring is and how far the three point line is. Take all these into consideration and you will find that shooting becomes a norm. When practicing, always remember how you shot the last shot. Work on that and it will simply become muscle memory.
    When people ask me why i'm such an excellent shooter, I simply tell them, "muscle memory". Practice makes perfect but what good is it if you can't tell the difference between a bad shot and a good shot.

    you know, the targeting tip seems obvious but it actually really opened my eyes. back in high school i was one of the best shooters in practice but only made 2 points the whole season. i am realizing now that my weak dribbling causing me to look at the floor most of the time was a big reason i missed so many shots. by the time my eyes actually got on the hoop the shot was already up and out of my hands.
