Hey, Centri how you doing? I have a theory because I’m a nerd. But when you said the witch can manifest into other creatures I believe that’s wrong. I fully believe the witch “Is” the forest and she is watching you with every tree branch, every leaf and every rock. I think what you saw was like a “henchman” that she sends out to spreed fear because she feeds off of it, just like those “things” that don’t like the light. But that’s my theory. Really great video btw!
It is scary how fast time flies. I could have sworn the game came out only a couple years ago. Man. I remember seeing some of the trailers for it and it did not look good to me, at the time the developer meant nothing to me, I had forgotten what they had made. Observer is a pretty good game, I feel like it doesn't get the attention it deserves, and it's very much overshadowed by Layers of Fear, a fairly divisive game. Some people think it's great, some people don't care about it, and some people thinks it's not great. I'm on the fence between not caring and thinking it's not good. I watched a few playthroughs of it when it came out, and I couldn't really understand the appeal of it. I personally think Bloober team has a lot more misses than hits to their name, and it's not hard to see why there's a lot of concern over them doing the remake of a beloved horror game when there's significantly more qualified studios out there, and seeing how badly they missed the entire point of the Blair Witch game, it would seem the concerns are legitimate. I do agree with your take on the 2016 Blair Witch movie. I saw it in theaters with my mom, who is not overly fond of horror, but we both left thinking the last 25 to 30 minutes were incredible while the rest of the movie swerved in between bad and unnecessary. If only good horror movies could exist again. Great video.
I was too young when the OG came out and skipped 2016 and the game, but you cant hate on book of shadows! Objectively, it wasnt a good movie, not by a longshot. But i will die on the hill of it being fun in its cheesy-ness and its pretty solid twist at the end!
Hey bro, this video is insanely underrated. I've been trying to make UA-cam videos on a different channel for awhile now, and I can see how much time and effort you've put in on every aspect of the video. Keep it up man, this video was fantastic.
Hey man dont forget about Blair Witch Rustin Parr which came out in 2000. That was done by the folks that did Nocturne. Grim beard has a great video on that
It's a shame the Blair Witch movie is a hit or miss today. I found it boring until the final stretch. Too bad the game is worse. I've only seen this from Bloober Team, but I wonder if they really understand Psychological Horror or if they just got lucky with "Layers of Fear"?
Honestly a really great video from a smaller channel keep up the good work I hope to see more videos!
Thank you!

Thanks man, those kind words mean a lot.
awesome vid! Don’t Scream is the best replication of the blair witch experience i’ve seen lol
seems like they wanted to make a blair witch silent hill
main character is todd howard coded
I'm just upset that this wasn't a sequel to the old Blair Witch games made by Terminal Reality.

True. I feel like most people have disregarded that one.

They just got lucky. They have an awful understanding of the topic and it just honestly comes off as insulting 90% of the time
