I'm not keeping up but thanks anyway, this is the sound I'm looking for. I'll have to bone up on the synth. I've now learned how to assign elements, your using short cuts, thanks.
Behringer RD9, TR09, the TR909 Roland Cloud VST or if you really have the money a TR909 but my honest recommendation would be the Behringer RD9, it's essentially a total copy of the TR909 and it's $550 AUD so probably like $350 USD. I can't say for sure but getting a classic analog sound from Serum probably is going to be difficult. The reason trance doesn't really have that sound it did back in the late 90's and early 2000s anymore is people are using synths like Serum instead of the old analog or virtual analog hardware because it's a lot easier to use but the downside is you just don't get the same quality of sound from these VSTs as you do from the hardware.
I clicked the link, and it sends me to the website, but I see no FREE downloads. I'm confused. I just wanted to be able to follow a freaking tutorial. Sorry, but this is frustrating, and feels like nothing but a commercial video. The link takes me to a page that is asking for 55 euros. Where are the specific presets???????? I'm sorry. Just very frustrated and confused.
Do you know how to make the pitch bend, so you can create a ‘bouncy’ kick, where the tail goes up in pitch? A bit like Super Mario’s jumping sound, as sort of reference. To create more of a boing kick, instead of a boom kick. 😅
Having a weird problem with the thump i have all settings the same and it doesnt sound the same at all not sure if its a new version of serum? Very weird
3:45 when I hold down a key I first hear the desired Sound, but then I just hear the standard sine wave sound (high pitch) How do I turn that off, so when I press a key I only hear the low and short sound we want to hear? The high pitch sine wave sound only kicks in after about 0.2 seconds. So when I release the note fast enough it's not there
@@reorderdj where in the video do you mention this? I can't find it 😅 It works for the first oszillator to do the click. But I don't see you do it for the second Oszillator. I tried it anyways, but then the second one sounds like a click too
Why not have the link just send us to the direct download?????? I've even tried searching free kick presets in the search bar on your website. Nothing.
Maybe that silly question but im newbie in serum. Why when im taking level all the way down on lfo 2 following step by step video its automatically taking level all the way down in lfo1 also and i cant hear nothing? What am i doing wrong cause i guess i do...?
I followed through the tutorial but somehow the sub part of my kick has completely no balls despite the serum settings looking identical to yours. At least I'm not seeing any difference. Oh well =\
The only free download your store offers are the wavetable essentials which don't contain the shapes in this video. Kinda disappointing because I really wanted to follow your video but without the presets the video is useless to me
Dude... i followed every step and even drew the shapes myself as he had them and it sounds perfect. Maybe take the time to learn what you're trying to accomplish so you can better experiment and learn what all those buttons and dials actually do. If being a music producer was just as simple as downloading presets all the time, everyone would sound the same. You can have the best brushes and paint in the world, but it doesn't mean you know how to paint a picture 😁
man much respect but this is one of the most confusing videos i've ever seen. you assign the lfo in one shape and then change it and assign it again, you do some changes with the matrix and some changes with the nobs, and overall go very slow until you speed up doing 3 things within a second without much explanation. thanks for making this content but i spent more time backtracking than understanding why my sound is different while doing exactly the same things
I like how you make a mistake and correct it on the spot very edjucating 💗🙏
Thank you. I am human too 🤣
Absolutely brilliant tutorial again! Always so clear and concise, even for a newbie like me. Thanks.
Glad it was helpful!
Finally got through this having learned some Serum, thank you, the kick is brilliant, very clean, just what I've been looking for.
Great to hear!

Really good one.
Can you explain the further process to get that typical punchy trancestyle kick? Classic or Hardtrance?
Would be great. ❤

I've had the TR 8, RD9, Rd8 ... but the goal is the processing and that's what I am struggling with. @@KingValas
How do u have env2 be the envolope that affects only the click?
That's mint - thank you for sharing the knowledge as I only purchased Serum recently and your video has helped me understand things a bit better.
Great to hear!

best kick tutorial, thanks!

Watch again. Volume lfo;)

Amazing! Thank you!
thanks🎉🎉
Would be nice if we could buy these serum kicks as presets!
You actually can in my last serum preset pack:)
@@reorderdj nice! I will have a look at that
Amazing video, legend. Just wish it was a trance kick in your style 😢
Next time!

❤ superb.....
Hey no free presets ??🙃🙃

You are probably setting the lfo to go in negative numbers. Check the matrix. To volume should go from +X to 0 not -X to 0 🫶🏻

It is very sensitive. You need to be careful and follow perfectly bro
@@reorderdj I did get it in the end! Thanks for replying! You were right. Tiny tweaks unlocked the wub.

I think you need to look a bot closer inside the soundstore mate. It is there and it is free of charge;) 🫶🏻

I would rather learn how to make the presets than go to that website!
Where did u get the cracking sound at the end?
You mean fire?
Hi Tibor, i don't find the shapes to download on the page
Hey buddy, it is in the sound store;))
Dzięki😎@@reorderdj

Hey bud,
If you follow it exactly and load in the shapes then it works. I actually tried it before posting the video.
? I watched, paused when needed and it's as simple as just copying what you see. I even drew in the presets myself and not once did i get lost... 🤔
Free presets not free anymore, sad face.
